i recieved an email that i was signed up priceshuffle web auction site with a charge to my card of $149.95  they of course thanked me AND WELCOMED ME TO THIS RIP OFF SITE
i immediatly called their # and explained that i did not authorize this and would they please close this and was told to email their support address.  I explained that one of my children had used this card without permission and would they please close this account and I was told by Connie Gore that they would resolve this in 24 hrs or less.   After a few more emails I was contacted by Leo Gold. again to no avail.   today after 12 emails  I realize I have been scammed and will file a dispute with my bank tomorrow   I have another name that I will attempt to contact, Eli Smith,  but I do not believe they have any intention of issuing a refund       I even asked them what was purchased for $149.95 and no answer   so it looks like I have now officially joined the American Club of Scammed Dummies   good job PRICESHUFFLE.COM

oh..almost forgot...

AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

..in my responding to rozbert the stalker...I did not respond to the lashing from the poster "priceshuffle"...so i will take the liberty to do so now..

Nancy, ignore Ronny's lame and erroneous comments. He
obviously has made it his goal to commit his life to acting as Robin Hood on
these threads.

"lame and erroneous"? Perhaps the "priceshuffle" was a little upset about my first reply to this report...

"..do not delay. First search this site and the internet and get printouts of as many other complaints against priceshuffle as you can find. There will be no shortage..you may run out of printer paper.

Take these printouts to your bank, or if this was a credit card and not local, fax them to your credit card bank. Tell them this is proof the company is conducting fraud and you want the charges reversed.

As well, keep on top of priceshuffle to issue a refund..do not relent, do not delay.

Recently two of these same type scam sites (swipebids and swipe auctions) which were owned by the same sleezebucket closed down. There were lots of complaints coming in and they were promising everyone refunds. Then all of a sudden they told them all it is being shut down so no refunds will be issued. I imagine these victims are fuming.

All these sites like this (and there are a few that get reports here) will eventually be shut down. They are actually online gambling, but somehow getting away with implying they are a legitimate auction. Once the FTC and other agencies realize they are operating outside of gambling regulations, but are indeed gambling sites, they will be shut down or have to conform to regulations and this will not allow them to scam to this degree..and they will probably shut down anyhow.

There was or is a class action lawsuit being organized against swipebids..don't know if this is why they closed..or if another reason forced them to close, or if they did it voluntarily to get out of giving the refunds..but either way, when..not IF..but when priceshuffle goes the same route..no one will be refunded."

I doubt this "priceshuffle" will have the balls to debate any of that..but lets see...

" Instead of using his time and mighty brain to maybe working or
doing something constructive in life, he feels the need to hide behind a
monitor leading a life of non-existence to everyone but himself."

So, this "priceshuffle" has determined that this is all I do with my life. And that I feel a "need" to hide behind a monitor. Interesting coming from a person named "priceshuffle" responding to a report against..."priceshuffle". I simply feel the "need" to use some of my free time to expose SCAMS...yes, along the way some are offended....you should only read some older bank reports to see the vicious attacks against me for simply defending bank ripoff victims...but you know what?...It does not matter what you or anyone thinks about me. If they can devote their "non-existence" to following all the reports to notice that I respond to some, then apparently they need to either add something of worth, or find a better use of their time.

You, nor anyone else should feel the need to explain yourself to him. I am sorry that you had to go through a stressful situation with a company you felt mislead you.

You know what? I agree...no one needs to explain themselves to me...as they did not rip me off..and I did not rip them off. And it is so heart warming that you..."priceshuffle" am "sorry" of the stressful situation with a company she felt "misled" her.  Perhaps this "priceshuffle" ought to google or internet search "priceshuffle"...simple....go to a search engine...type in "priceshuffle" followed by the word of choice...."scam", "ripoff", complaints", fraud", etc..and then see if "sorry" really cuts it. Or maybe I am the bad guy?

If a company refunded you and requested your resolution to be known, I
truly don't find what the bug Ronny has is.

Okay, allow me to explain. As stated, I have read reports where the poster states priceshuffle offered to refund "only if", the victim posted updates, or did not report to the BBB etc.

This to me is also FRAUD. Because it can give others who could be future VICTIMS, a sense that this company is legit. I do not believe companies that spam deceptive emails and use fake "news reports", and deceptive membership sign up fees and not disclosing that this is a form of online gambling, and implying this is a better alternative then retail shopping, or compare themselves to ebay as an "auction", are anything less then a scam.

The way the business model works...is that the site profits by the fact that as many members should LOSE as possible..otherwise the model fails and the site could not profit as much. Now, there is nothing wrong with this per say if it is clearly disclosed that this is primarily for gambling and entertainment purposes only...but this would cause the site to FAIL, or struggle significantly. As many potential victims/members would NEVER EVER give any account information to this site in the first place, if they knew they were going to be charged just for submitting it (no separate confirmation page PROVES this conclusively), and if they really understood they were about to join a gambling website for prizes and bidpacks. So, it seems this is why it it chosen by   priceshuffle, that deception is to be required in order for them to prosper handsomely.

We already understand you got a charge that you felt wronged about and have no further interest in dealing with this company. I take real issue with people like Ronny who feel the need to badger someone in their never ending fight to "cleanse" the world of bad business instead of making a difference of their own. People like him are the ones who give companies such as bestbuy and amazon.com a bad name because they just are miserable and want to spread their misery around.

I take real issue with BS artists and scammers. I hope to make a difference, however small...that by when someone googles or internet searches "priceshuffle", that they get to see the WHOLE truth. Even if it makes me look ugly. Self sacrifice is small in this case..just a little typing on a website. It is NOT a court of law or a thesis...just opinion based on observation posted on a complaints site. Anyone can rebut, ignore or agree. Free speech, free website.

From comments on other threads it seems Ronny Brockovich has nothing but negativity to spread regarding a plethora of businesses. I am not saying that there are not companies providing bad business nor that Nancy or many other people have been mislead.

Oh..many have been misled. However I have been called on this website "ChaseBoy"..because I defended Chase Bank..or recommended their checking card to those who were getting ripped by other banks..and I am also known by a few here as a "PayPal" and ebay defender. I have even been accused of working for PayPal and eBay. I have defended car dealerships, as well as bashed them...once again depending on the merits of the report.

So obviously I am not anti business, only anti ripoff, or anti wrongful disparaging of a business. I base EACH and EVERY reply I CHOOSE to respond to, on the merits of the report, and on a case by case basis. I have been wrong at times..but generally I am pretty careful that what I post is based on fact and personal experience. Unfortunately life and people are NOT perfect..we all make mistakes and can get careless. But INTENT is what I believe we will all be judged by, and I have a good feeling the "intent" of priceshuffle, is to decieve and rip people off. So I help expose it by posting here what I observe. The INTENT of the replies by you and Robert towards me..is just personal animosity plain and simple..nothing to do with helping ANYONE..and THAT is pitiful.

I just have to question someone like Ronny. Take that energy and help
out charities, go fight in a war or do pro bono work for youth or people in
need. Basically Ronny G, do something with your life that is anything else but
jump online from your lair to berate people who are just coming on and sharing
their stories, negative or positive.

Uhh...I don't understand how someone representing a SCAM gambling website can come here and preach to me....but take it as you will, this IS my pro bono work...regardless if on occasion, I make a mistake. But I do not do so with intent..set up websites and businesses that use DECEPTION as a huge part of the business model.

Okay Robert..when you are done laughing

AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

..you can read my reply and see if YOU can possibly comprehend ANYTHING.

But I doubt it..you see, I know that you do not care a but about this poster, or pricesuffle. The only thing you care about it seems, is responding to anything I post, and try to discredit it. Sad really, that your pitiful life has come down to devoting it to me.

Let us review..
I think you should apologize.  It isnt Nancys fault that you have a reading comprehension deficit.  You fail to take into account the context of Nancys posts.  Although Im not a teacher as you claim to be, Ill attempt to explain it to you.

I don't really care what you think because you are a lunatic. But I will appease you. If I failed to take any context into account (context from a BANK DEFENDER..now THAT is funny) then I am sure I clearly explained and posted as evidence whatever I was responding to.

Oh, and I don't "claim" to be a teacher, I WAS a teacher. If you do not believe me that is your issue, not mine. You have proven NOTHING on this website..other then you are some kind of bitter resentful old fool. But as old as you are..you should consider growing up...and finding a better hobby then stalking me here.Update #3,

Nov 10th.
the refund was posted to my account today.

Nancy made this posting to inform ROR readers that a refund was posted to her account by Price Shuffle.

This is correct RoZbert..so what did I state that is out of context?

Update #5, Nov 11th.  Edgeman posted a question for Nancy.

We might as well get a statement for the record.

OP, did PriceShuffle ask you to post a rebuttal and say that you received your refund? If so, was this a requirement for receiving your refund?

Update #6, Nov 11th.  Nancys rebuttal was a response to Edgemans question.

they did not "require" me to post the refund.  After numerous emails, most that went unanswered, I emailed them that I had posted on this site.  I recieved an email from K McCahn and then from E Smith.  My answer to their email was always the same  I will update the posting after the money has posted to my account.

Now this is where CONTEXT comes into play Rozzy.  Nancy is informing ROR readers what HER ANSWER TO PRICE SHUFFLE was in her email to PRICE SHUFFLE.  Nancy told Price Shuffle in her emails to them I will update the posting after the money has posted to my account.

This posting by Nancy was to inform Edgeman what she had told Price Shuffle in her email exchanges with Price Shuffle.  This update was not to say that a refund was posted on Nov 11th.  Nancy was informing us that she told Price Shuffle that she would update ROR AFTER she had her money returned to her.

It seems only YOU didnt get it.  Tell us how that BSEE college degree is working for you!  LOL!

What is so funny? I do understand what you are saying here. The poster used poor sentence structure which is the REASON I misunderstood the reply. I did not take anything out of context with intent. It has nothing to do with my degree in electrical engineering. If you would like to debate me in the field I will destroy you. But you won't because you are a coward.

I would have perhaps not misunderstood the reply had it been written as such...

My answer to their email was always the same, that  I will update the posting after the money has posted to my account...

How I read, or "comprehended" it, was as two sentences .as such..

My answer to their email was always the same  I will update the posting after the money has posted to my account.

Notice the space between "same", and "I". I thought she forgot the period.

Now..if that statement is true either way, it does seem to imply that priceshuffle was encouraging her to update. Since other similar complaints against priceshuffle did indeed state in the OP, that priceshuffle was promising refunds "as long as" the members post updates on the complaint sites, it was a fair and reasonable assumption on my part, that they may be doing the same in this case.

Sorry if my attention to detail is not as sharp as yours Robert..it is just a friggen reply to another penny auction scam..not a trial. But I can understand you..someone as OBSESSED as you to prove me wrong...must have called for a celebration to catch this whooping misunderstanding on MY part, due to poor sentence structure of the OP. You are once again Robert...a time proven butthole. No fascination...just calling it as I see it.

Reading for the comprehension impaired.

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

Well perhaps I should apologize because I could not understand how on earth a refund was posted to the account on Wednesday..but on Thursday it is stated an update will be posted AFTER the money has posted to the account.

Indeed you are clueless.  Perhaps if you spent less time staring at a calendar and more time learning to read, you would have comprehended her postings correctly.  A better idea would be for you to spend less time polluting ROR and enroll in an English Comprehension class at your nearest community college.

Regardless..I stated my reasoning..if it is not good enough for the old fart "ROZbert from Buffalo chips...well too bad. He can go suck a d**k for all I care.

What is your fascination with genitalia?  Between your postings that mention d****e bags and references to homosexual acts, one has to wonder if youre getting any!  ROTFLMAO!!!

Mentioned ROR...promised refund, we'll see

AUTHOR: MReese709 - (United States of America)

I too was scammed by this site and received a charge of 149.75 on my CC.  Once I realized this, which was about 2 days later, I emailed and immediately requested a refund.  They of course at first sent back that their terms and conditions were "clearly" posted on their website (which we obviously know they weren't) and therefore they would not be able to give me a refund.  My reply to that was that NO their terms and conditions were not clear, or else I WOULD HAVE SEEN THEM, and I also mentioned in my email how I had been to ripoffreport.com and had seen SEVERAL posts of this so called scam and WOULD be filing a report myself against their company if I did not receive my refund.  I got an email back almost right away offering me HALF of my money back, and once again I told them that would NOT work and that either I received my refund or I would take other measures in order to get my money back, and it was then that I received another email from someone else entirely from priceshuffle.com who has promised me a TOTAL refund, to be posted within 3 business days.  I did receive an email receipt, but of course will wait to see if the money is actually deposited back.

Long story short to those of you still having trouble getting your money back, you may want to mention this website and just see if that works for you, because they seemed to do a 180 when I told them I would have no trouble filing a report!

I just responded on my own report, BUT...

AUTHOR: Strgglingmom - (USA)

While it is NOT a "requirement", Eli Smith will ask EVERY person who files on this website, to "Please update your complaint that you got your money back."  I did it, I was only happy to.  But there was no proviso that I couldn't mention HOW I got my refund and why.  Eli was ABSOLUTELY unhappy when I told him that I filed with BBB.com, the FTC and was currently completing the complaint forms for the FBI's Internet Crime Unit and the California State Attorney General's Office.  What I found really odd, was how concerned he was about my report here on ROR.com.  In any case, after all of it and he said he would send my money back, "once you receive your refund, would you mind updating your complaint on RipOffReport?  Check your e-mail there is the receipt for your pending refund and I've included the link to your report."  How convenient!  Gee, thanks.

Nancy - You did well.  Nothing in your report or rebutals was conflicting at all.  Just ignore Ronny G  AKA The Wonderful Wizard of Roz.  If you search ROR, you'll see what I mean.  In his own mind, he's the absolute greatest-done it all, never wrong, and has to have the last word.

If you have the time, you might enjoy a good laugh by "peeking behind the curtain" to see the full measure of the greatest expert ROR has ever known:

...your replies were conflicting, thank you for clearing it up. I don't trust this shuffle site at all so it is hard to believe they would ever issue a refund unless they were legally forced to, or had something to gain. It would be nice if they were cleaning up their act..but every time these types of sites give the "impression" they are cleaning up..they screw everyone.

You were either very lucky..or it is a fluke.

AUTHOR: nancy - (USA)

Let me repeat my experience with price shuffle   I was scammed, after quite a few emails requesting a refund and finally filling this report and notifying them, I was asked why did I "deliberately tarnish" their reputation.  After receiving emails from the people listed in my original and subsequant updates, I was issued a refund.  It posted to my bank accout to which I then updated my report with the FACT that I received a refund.   I did not at any point paint this company in a favorable light, simply stated facts, a refund was recieved.  Do I still believe I was scammed,  YES!!!!!!  But it would be wrong for me to not report that the issue was resolved with a refund.   If you are accusing me of lying, so be it.   I feel for those people that have not been fortunate enough to get their money back and wish I could help the world but I am one person who was determined to figth this till the end  I did threaten them with a dispute at my bank but once they stated they would refund my money I said I would give them the 3-5 days they told me it would take.  AGAIN,  I was scammed but DID feceive a refund.

Nancy, I am not living my life with some innate desire to come here to question your integrity, but to possibly help others in these hard times from falling victim to the same SCAM you did.

But in your previous response you stated response #3 posted   and I quote YOU.. "the refund was posted to my account today."

But in your last response #6 posted you state and I quote "I will update the posting after the money has posted to my account."

What would you expect anyone to assume or conclude when there is a discrepancy such as this? How on God's green Earth could the refund be posted one day BEFORE it was not yet posted? Some of us can notice the obvious flaw in your postings. We are not all lifetime members of the American Club of Scammed Dummies.

make your "child' pay you back...

AUTHOR: Edgeman - (U.S.A.)

If your child truly took your credit card, created an account on Price Shuffle, entered your credit card number, expiration date and the 3 digit CCV number on the back of the card, then you need to hold your child accountable. Is he or she old enough to work odd jobs around the neighborhood or get a job? If so, your child can earn enough money to pay you back or work the money off by extra chores around the house.

You might also put on your child's internet access. What your "child" did was illegal and he/she needs too know how serious this is.
