Description- 2003 Porsche Boxster. " Everything in perfect working order. There is no damage evident on this vehicle. The vehicles engine is in perfect working condition. This vehicle has no known defects. Leather is excellent. All functions working perfectly."
The "mechanic" from Lemon Squad gave it a drive and look over and only really mentioned the battery.
Missing headlight components, oil leaking that must have been evident as in 3 hours in my garage there is a coffee can size pool of oil on the floor. Torn leather seat covers which would would have been easy to see by pulling the seat covers back.( I asked the seller directly about the condition when I saw the seat covers on line and he said via email they were in good condition. The mechanic did say the battery was very low and the seller said he would put a new one in before shipping. He did not do that as it barely started getting off the trailer.$175 for that battery that I installed.
There was a strong fuel smell in the car when I fueled it up. The fuel level sending unit in the top of the pressurized fuel tank had raw fuel on top of it(front trunk) with old cracks in it so it was not a new issue. The seller said he had driven it some so he would have smelled the fumes. $325 for that part that I installed.
There was no jack in case of flat tire.$75 Not yet purchased
The key fobs that I asked the seller about do not function. That is likely a $350 Porsche dealership recoding cost.
Headlight trim $65
Seat covers for material only $300 and no labor. I'm no upholsterer
All that stuff is minor compared to the oil leak Im afraid to take to the mechanic.
And on top of all that I have not received a title for the car in 7 weeks.
Richard is not returning my texts, emails or phone calls.
Maybe somebody got to him?

The independant mechanic was not allowed to open the engine compartment per Richard.
I asked Richard if there were 2 key fobs and he said yes. neither work.
I asked richard about the seatcovers and the condition of the leather beneath them and he said they were OK. They wern't and were ripped.
And he has consistently lied in emails concerning sending me the title. If you look at all the emails in order they are hilarious. and it is 2/24/2016 and still no title although I bought the car on 12/22/2015.
Just paid for a bonded title in order to get a tag to drive it. Thanks Richard, wish you were in my home town.

Buyer had pre purchase inspection done before transaction consummated Upon completion of inspection buyer signed As-Is statement. Now months later he wants reimbursement for repairs. In my opinion the third party inspection company should be liable for anything missed. Why wernt these issues brough up immediatly? As-Is stament and email attached.

Buyer paid for an extensive independent pre purchase inspection to be done on the vehicle before consummating the deal. An independent inspection of the buyers choosing was preformed. The only thing noted was a weak battery. With that the buyer concluded the transaction and signed the mandatory AS IS statement. Now 2 months later the buyer files this report against us. Why would you not go after the inspection company you hired?
