When I called "Protect your home" the first time, they pretended to be the full "ADT" company.  They are not, they are a provider.

When I told them that I needed an alarm installed as I had been broken into and was a single woman alone, they told me that their "was no other company" that was an ADT company in Las Vegas,  and that I had to wait another 9 days for them to show up.  I asked if they were a LOCAL PROVIDER... they lied!

They said YES... but they are NOT in Vegas.. they have an empty office, no one here, and hire Vegas locals.. but they are NOT from Las Vegas at all.   Lies!

A week goes by, and I am scared silly of being in my home because it has been burlerized.  I started to call other places, hoping to god I could find a place that could install.

Its only then that I find out "Protect Your Home" is NOT ADT factory at all!   They PRETEND to be... and the reality is.. they arent ADT at all!   "Protect your home" looks like a slogan, not the name of the company.

Thats the first clue as to how sneaky they are.  Once I realise they have lied to me, and their ARE other, many other, ADT approved vendors in Vegas, then I cancell the service to go with a local provider and they dont give me a cancellation number.

When you try to cancell, its a whole different game than calling to order.  You will be dropped into an IVER system for over an hour trying to get a cancellation number.   When you finally do get to a real human, you are told "We dont do that.. you will have to call ADT directly"  when it was ADT CORPORATE that told me to call them???

Dont hire "Protect Your Home"   as they arent locals to you.. they lie.. and if you try to go with a REAL company that IS local to your city.. they REFUSE to cancell your account and give you the code.
