PTL trucking Lied about the amount of money a driver could make Murray Murray Kentucky
*UPDATE Employee: READ the Contract
*Consumer Comment: What Did You Expect?
Lied to drivers about how much money they could make. Worked for eight weeks and only took home 950.00 dollars. They took all the money for fees for this and that charged an on board sitting fee of 500.00 payable to quality truck sales which quality says that they don't charge

Of course there are charges and deductions...We know this, however, PTL is trumping up charges...and when the payloads are good, which is rare. they only pay a portion of the revenue for that load, so if I have a 1600.00 payload, I was paid 182.00 on the statement...The remainder of pay for that load was paid on the following week...but of course, WE the drivers don't know what's going on until we can get home to get a look at our statements...then we have to call payroll to get answers...which are at best...glossed over with excuses..
FOR INSTANCE; I had taken an advance...$75.00... to purchase load locks required for a load, The cost for load locks was $70.60...I transfo'd the receipt with all paperwork regarding that load...I was not reimbursed but I was charged the $75.00 anvance plus $2.00 for the advance...$70.60, not that much money...but I had not received a paycheck and I needed money to eat...I was simply told that it would be paid the following week. So I talked to my fleet manager. he issued me an express code for the $70.60...I cashed the com check and was charged by truck stop $2.00...on my next statement....I WAS CHARGED AGAIN...$70.60...Payroll said...OH that will be paid next week..AGAIN...nO pAYCHECK...aLSO, WHAT AMAZES me...When my revenue for the week is 1750...my deductions are 1750...when my revenue is 1306,,,my deductions also are 1306...when my EARNINGS ONE TIME was 3025...my deductions...2543...My check, 482..which was my 3rd paycheck...My first check $0. 0 followed by $19.15...PTL needs to be put down...I mean JUST put down!

If you agreed to be an independent driver with a FLEASE with them, of course they are going to charge you for things. Did you even bother to read the paperwork you signed? We all know the answer to that question!
