Called in on 22 October to cancel my order.  No one live to talk to, left message to cancel my order.  November 1st and my debit card has been charged.  I call in to question some one about this the morning of November 1st.  They stated that they have a record of my calling in, but no message.  Interesting that you can call in 24 hours a day to place an order, but not for anything else. It is also curious no one tried to call me back.  

Any way, I ask for the order to be stopped, too late, it has already shipped today.  I ask for a full refund and am told I will not get a full refund because of shipping costs.  The Supervisor (Melissa) then tells me that she will e-mail me a shipping label to mail the product back.  I will (according to Melissa) still be charged for the product being shipped to me.  I told her that I was not fully satisfied with this result and she tells me that is the best she can do.

I then come to this website and see that some one from Purity Products  responded to an earlier complaint and tells the complainer to contact Joel Joseph (Customer Care Manager) because they want their customers to have full satisfaction.  That is exactly what I want!  So I called back and asked for Joel Joseph, (he is not there today).  I asked if he is a Customer Care Manager and am told he is a Customer Care Coordinator.  Did Joel get demoted?

(1) you can order 24 hours a day by phone but can not cancel 24 hours a day. 

Order line is the satellite office.  Corporate Office handles accounts and cancellations.  

(2) The fact I called within the two week period, got a recording, leaving a message, and No one returning my call. 

9am - 9pm is a lot of time to attempt a second call to make sure the cancellation is taken care of.  There can be a lot of voicemails to a company that has customers all over 2 different countries.

(3) Not getting a full refund. 

Refunds always full.  Shipping charges wouldnt be if an account is not canceled before shipping the order that was explained to be coming if not stopped.

(4) Is Joel Joseph a Customer Care Manager or not?

A Manager and Coordinator are both the same depending on the company size.   Manager and Coordinator are interchangeable.

The employee who was so offended by my report failed to address the points that I stated in my report.  Namely, you can order 24 hours a day by phone but can not cancel 24 hours a day. (2) The fact I called within the two week period, got a recording, leaving a message, and No one returning my call.  (3) Not getting a full refund.  (4) Is Joel Joseph a Customer Care Manager or not?

 I work for Purity Products and I must say that I was upset at this report. There are people available to cancel orders 6 days a week. m-f 9-9 and Sat 9-5. You are clearly informed that you do not have to accept any other offers with your free bottle. If you CHOOSE to accept automatic shipments you are given 2 weeks to cancel before the first shipment goes out. It is clearly stated 3 times when you call in for your free bottle that you will recieve automatic shipments if you do not cancel IF you opt in to that program. There is also a letter included on your invoice that spells out the automatic shipment program AGAIN in your free bottle shipment. It is YOUR responsibility to cancel in the first 2 weeks if you do not want to recieve the automatic shipments that YOU AGREED TO. It amazes me how many people get angry with us because THEY didn't call in to cancel a program that THEY agreed to voluntarily.

Purity Products are wonderful supplements and the company goes above and beyond in many cases to make the products available and affordable for those that truly need and want the supplements. If you had a bad experience I am truly sorry for that but it is not the norm and it is not a scam.
