I purchased a service that I wanted through one of the social living discount deals. Upon completion of my purchase with the service, QMAX edition website poped up. It was worded as if it was a gift to the consumers who purchased something through the social living networks.  I could pick one watch and just click for authorizing Shipping and Handling for $5.99 for the watch of my choice and it looked as a gift to the purchaser of the social living purchase that had nothing to do with watch.  I thought it was ok to pay for a small fee to receive a watch. I receievd a watch and the 15th day since I paid for the Shipping and Handling, my credit card was charged for $95.

I called QMAX.com and the agent explained what I did. I am not able to go back to the agreement screen that he referred me tol; however, I not-knowingly agreed to have a new watch every 30 days and $95 was a regular subscription fee that would occur every 30 days. The initial $5.90 was only for the trial period and receive the first watch. If I had not called, i would have received anotehr watch and by the time I had received another watch, there would have been another $95 charge. If the cancellation was not made in 14 days,  QMAX would process it as "agreed" subscription service.

Who needs a new watch every month? The agreement screen obviously looked as if it was only for the shipping and handling of the gift. This is a typical Internet scam.

I called and received a cancellation number from the agent. He said that he was sending me the confirmation email. I never received it. So, I filed to "dispute transaction" with my credit card company and that is all I can do now. I will not receive refund according to the QMAX Terms and Conditions that are explained on the website and the agent that I spoke to.

Exerpt of their Terms is as below which is not visible at all on the screen where you click for paying Shipping and Handling of $5.90.
