I submitted my order for a start up kit($148+s&h)August 2001. I recently had a child and knew I needed to provide a stable environment. I live in a rural area, no vehicle, no job, and just graduated from high school.

Her father is still doing everything he can to support us and finish his education. This was supposedly my chance to give us a solid foundation, so, I spent his hard earned money on the packet. Needless to say, I have not made any money to this day.

I have tried calling but the answers are always vague. I almost gave up. I figured I had been had, but ripoffreport.com gave me some hope.

I pray a Robin Hood will come, retrieve our losses, and bring that heartless Zaken to justice.

If anyone has info on a legitimate home based business or help for young mothers, please let me know via the rebuttle box.

this kind of thing is suceptable to being ripped off!

AUTHOR: Stacey - (United States Minor Outlying Islands)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 05, 2003

I had high hopes after doing research on the Zaken Corp. I thought I had information that indicated they were legit. I sent for the info and have made some contacts but have not made any deals yet. I have talked to the company through there phone numbers but cannot get any real answers and have had zero success with their web page. Now I am wondering if even someone who considers themselves faily savy when it comes to this kind of thing is suceptable to being ripped off!

I have been looking for a real work at home business also and so many of them are rip-offs it has been real discouraging. If it would be possible to contact the people that are in this forum that know about a real work at home business. If so how would one do this?

It is real sad when all you want to do is work and provide for your family and be home to be their for them.

I just know this is the way to expose the rip-offs on the internet. I almost fell into one of them until I discovered this site thank goodness for that.

Stay strong and still looking for an opportunity

AUTHOR: Abraham - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 26, 2003

I got ripped off with Zaken almost 6 months ago....I've been contacted last week by a News Reporter on FOX and he is trying to get more people who have been ripped off by T. Zaken (or who ever he is). I told him my story and there are a ton more like it. Hopefully he will be shut down soon..but all we can do is really educate.

Meanwhile, I'm getting married this year and was really hoping to make enough to buy a home in the next couple of years. If anyone out there knows of an opportunity (not overnight millions) but a program that works. Please let me know. I will check back periodically. Good luck to all those out there...and please do your research...

Hello Denise

AUTHOR: Joseph - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 25, 2003

I originally reached out to Nicole from Arizona with an offer of a business that can be done from home but I have not received a response. However, I just checked back and read your response, Denise, and yes, there are honest people with honest opportunities. One gentleman also replied with suggestion for E-bay. This is a very good avenue for someone who fears being ripped off and it is a sure way to generate income. As I stated in my original offer to Nicole, I have a company that deals in an industry that allows someone to work from home, Denise. Granted, not all of the people I work with do so from home but the overhelming majority do... including myself and a lot of stay at home moms and dads, as well as single parents and former corporate professionals. This is not the "secret to instant wealth" or "sit on your a** and make money" or "send me $49.95 + S/H and you"ll make millions in 30 days". I think all realistic people understand these are not realistic!!

Should you have a sincere interest in exploring something real and you are willing to perform some initial investigation into what I have to say... respond to this message and we'll figure a way that you can contact me directly via E-mail.

Also... I would like to point out once again that I have contacted some of the magazines which allow Zaken to run advertising and they have all said that if people who have been wronged contact them directly to complain, they will pull his advertising avenues. If we shut down the ways in which he spreads his poison we can go a long way in stopping him from hurting others.

Just an idea for moms?

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, June 14, 2003

I just happen to find this page investigating this co. for my 60 yr. old mother (who is taking care on an invalid husband, so she must stay home also) who has already sent her money in. I have yet to tell her what I have found out!...poor mom; and everyone else who has been taken by thier false promises.

Anyways, the reason I'm responding to this,is to relay a suggestion for work at home moms (or who ever.) I have tried many Networks(Like Direct Access, Marathon and yes even, of course Amway{no inferrences made}), and purchased the "as seen on t.v" money makers (like Don Lapre "Little Ads" and Internet Treasure Chest).

I've also attented Internet Business Seminars for helping people get there businesses on-line..(WARNING: These "Free" seminars can end up costing you a couple thousand dollars or more if they get thier claws into you.. So be careful if you go (I did however learn alot of tip and tricks from all thier info.)Some of them (mostly the Networking) made me some monthly income, but most were not worth my postage for return.

What I am suggesting isn't unheard of, chances are most already know of it.---EBAY. I have been involved with this for about six months, that is to say selling on e-bay for profit.

Probably the most important detail in making money for the average person working at home is 'what to sell...what product. Most of my past endevours might have actually produced some desirable results IF I had had a product to sell. I suggest you look at:

www.mydssd.com.
mynas.sitesell.com

In a nut shell. One site promotes "Real Wholesale Droshipping from 1200 Major companies and manufacturers. This means that you advertise "for sale" thier products BEFORE you purchase them( as many as you want!!!)These are real, legal, "no middle man" whoesale prices for direct from the Manufacturers or Autorized Factory outlets. You then forward that order to the Company (for that particular product) then they package and ship the item for you to your customer. You recieve the full payment and via the payment due to them, You keep the profit. No product to buy or store or ship, Quality names and products at Legal ( you need to get a Tax I.D to get Legal wholesale prices. Don't let that disuade you. it's very easy to do, cheap and anyone who is making money selling has one, mmm?

The other site is by gentleman who started an internet business a few years ago and has done well for others. His internite site was (is) Sitesell.com. He assistst individuals in building web busineses. He also jumped into Internet Auctioning the last couple of years and has learned enough to write a book. His site goes into more detail.

I have also bought some lots off of the tv shopping networks (trying to stick with quality products)and then break them down into smaller lots and auction them off.

Plus when you sell on E-bay, your customers can pay you with Visa, mastercard, pay pal ect. This in it self makes the sale a hundred times easier. Also they have over 2,000,000 log ons a month,,,now thats traffic. The average ad cost on ebay can be well under a dollar. I pay 30 cents

Four years ago the #1 seller at E-bay was Beeney Babies, This year it is SUV's.

I believe this is a trend that truely can be a successful "cottage industry". Well that's my two cents worth. Good-luck out there.

Are there ANY legitimate co's out there????

AUTHOR: Denise - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 04, 2003

I am very interested in a home-based business but I am finding all of this very dishearted as I get things in the mail everyday and think that maybe THIS one is for real.....then I check them out with Bad Business Bureau and as of this day have not found a single one that is legitimate. I feel very sorry for the ones that did not check into this before sending money. If there is someone out there with a legitimate business I would be very interested in talking with them. Thank you.

Thanks... but no thanks!!

AUTHOR: Joseph - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 20, 2003

Hello James from Michigan. Thank you for your interest but no thank you. I'm making a leap of faith here but, I get the feeling you are not a single mom. Secondly, I made an offer to ONE person, Nicole...not a blanket statement. I have no interest in attracting business people in this forum, I simply wanted to help Nicole. Your attitude of "show me the money" and "give me the proof", probably contributed to your problems with Zaken. Anyone can fabricate any "proof" necessary to convince someone with your attitude.

Oh, and lastly James, the next time you go for an interview for a J.O.B. (just over broke)...be sure to ask the person on the other side of the desk to see their paycheck! I'm sure they'll really appreciate it.

You said you've got an opportunity for working at home, let's see it. Give us a website or company name or something that we can see... Oh yeah, and proof. I want to see some proof of people making some money at it. I'm very interested in doing something from home, but I'm very skeptical about it because of all the scams. Show me the money!

Response to Nicole

AUTHOR: Joseph - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 06, 2003

Hello Nicole,

I was looking for a home business opportunity when I found Zaken. Fortunitely, I found this site before following through because I've investigated hundreds of opportunities. I have since found and honest, real opportunity to be worked from home, and I have found success.

Even though my experience with Zaken was short lived and ended last summer, I check this site frequently and I'm upset they continue to operate. Everyone who found Zaken in a magazine...you need to call the magazine and tell them what is going on. I called HBC and alerted them to the situation and they said that people should call them directly and they will remove him from their advertising avenue!!

To Nicole from Arizona, I am sorry what happened to you and yes, there are real opportunities out there. My company has groups devoted solely to mothers who wish to make money from home; support and training from people just like you! Should you be interested, please post a request and I'll find a way to get the info. to you.

There is one gentleman on this site who made a powerful suggestion of people who listed complaints here to band together to get the word out across the net regarding Zaken and his like. It's a shame that to date...it doesn't appear anyone else has captured his vision. This constitutes my reply, sir...I'm interested. As a businessman who helps people everyday, I want Zaken GONE! Zaken gives everyone a blackeye.

As stated, I already contacted HBC and they are willing to pull his advertising but they need to hear from people directly regarding their own experiences.

I await anyone's reply.
