Went to a presentation regarding travel and were guarateed for coming a cruise and an air and hotel trip for listening.

The gentlemen giving the presentation guaranteed that you would save more than 40% off cruises for first class accommodations and gave examples.  He also said that after 2/3 cruises you would make back you initial investment.  He convinced us that this is a good investment for us as we are newly retired and wish to travel.  

We were looking into cruises and found one that we liked.  We contacted the travel service and were given pricing.  The prices we were given was a lot more than if you booked directly with the cruises line.  We contacted them again and said the pricing was to high.  They gave us new pricing with a cabin in the front of the ship with an obstructed view.  Again contacted them and were given a low valued cabin.  We showed them pricing directly from the cruise line and they tried to tell us that those prices no longer were available.  

Numerous phone calls and e-mails were sent telling them how unhappy we were and was told that these were the best prices they could get for us.  We contacted a local travel agent with the same criteria and they were able to get us 1st class accommodations for a lot less than this travel club.  

The travel club also told us that they were giving us fair pricing and no discounts that we were promised.  I sent them a certified-return receipt letter which they never answered and denied getting.  

This company with all the alias they have is a scam.  They do not live up to anything they say at the presentations.

The free trips that we were also promised turned out to also be a scam.

 This was a very expensive lesson.
