As far as the employee asking for an email, this is only one of the ways to recieve your gift card. You can request to receive the giftcard by post mail, but it takes up to 2 weeks, versus the 5-7 days for a card delivered via email. I don't know if the employee reiterated this to you when you asked, but it is also listed in the broucher you should have recieved at the time of purchase.
In regards to your request to have a chair to sit in, we have been taught to wait until the customer either asks for somewhere to sit, or shows immediate medical signs of needing to sit down. It is not common practice to offer seats to customers, as it can come off as offensive to some customers who are headstrong and won't admit to needing rest. Our stores also aren't set up to allow lounging, and any chairs can be considered a fire hazard, so we try to avoid havig them on the floor if at all possible.

Let me guess. Some little head in the store insisted she give an email address and the lady has no email address.
Yo, Radio Shack, work with the lady here. Don't be petty jerk wads.
