This individual is going on line and attacking people with businesses in the Northern VA area.

ose is a super salesman! We were led to believe Jose would use top-notch Benjamin Moore paint. Instead, we found out he used cheap contractor paint that really did not do the job. Paint is fading, cracking, peeling, bubbling - you name it, only four years after it was originally done. It is now obvious as well that zero prep work was done. Like I said - he is salesman and will make you believe he'll do anything and everything for you. "You must trust me", was one of his ongoing phrases...."trust me......you must trust me....." Now our house has to be fully repainted. No one should have to repaint their house every four years....a good job should last 10 or 12 years. Beware of Jose - the super salesman!!

A technician came last year and quoted $1,000 for a Sentricon HD termite preventative treatment. Another technician came a couple of weeks ago and quoted almost $1,700 for the same treatment. 70% increase is outrageous! I spoke with the service manager and he budged a little but not much.
After 17 plus years with this company.....I am taking my business elsewhere.

Remodeling - Kitchen & Bathroom
Since the work was completed, cracks in the grout appeared exposing large gaps between tiles and tub. Vents are sweating as well leading to water damage to ceiling and tile from dripping water when HVAC is on.
Kayton Enterprises was contacted numerous times to fix the problems. When they do reply, they draggs things out without making any progress or any of the repairs.
Kayton Enterprises does not meet its commitments and does honor the warranty. Their quality of their work is unsatisfactory.
I do not recommend Kayton Enterprises for any work.

A leak was discovered before county inspection but was fixed in a timely manner. However, preparing for, installing the gas line and coordinating with Washington Gas for the stand-by generator was an unpleasant experience, as a matter of fact it was horrid.
First, there's a formula to calculate the length/size of the gas line based BTU's required for the stand-by generator. Not sure they were aware of that technicality and instead suggested a 1/2 or 3/4 inch pipe for a 162 foot gas line to power up a 777,000 BTU generator at full load. I did my own research, sought advice from the company who sold me the generator and as a result insisted on at least a one inch pipe. First red flag!
Second, A&S requested I contact Washington Gas and ask them to install a split gas meter? Washington Gas said a split gas meter is not necessary and that ample pressure is being supplied from the street. They asked me to tell the plumber to connect directly to the "gronsky tee." As plumbers, they should have known that. And why am I contacting Washington Gas? Why am I doing their work and paying them? More red flags are popping. Now I am getting really concerned.
Third, I am also told by the prime contractor that they recommended the electrician for the generator work and hook-up. All the electrical work for the generator had to be redone. Panels had to be fully rewired to meet to specifications and for approval by county inspectors. Trench had to be redug to 24 inches deep to meet specs, an additional conduit had to be installed. Etc. Etc.
Fourth, on most occassions A&S did not appear as promised in the job site and never returned phone calls to confirm appointments previously agreed to. They had all sorts of excuses.
In addition to not having a clue about stand-by gerenrator protocols, they were untimely and non-responsive. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. I do not plan to use them again and do not recommend them for any type of work.

For the amount of money I pay, I have certain expectations from Trugreen.
Expectation number 1: When I call, I expect somebody to answer the phone. Not with Trugreen - they route the call to somewhere. Somebody answers the phobe after being on hold for 30 minutes. The person is rude. I leave a message with them for the local management to return my call. No one calls me back.
Expectation number 2: The work is done in a timely manner. Not with Trugreen. They claim somebody came to my house last week to fertilize the yard. Normaly when that happen, a note by the door is left. Nothing left. No work was done.
Expectation number 3: My yard is weed-free. Not with Trugreen. Plenty of weeds around the perimeter. Lots of spurge, wild ivy and dandelion all over.
Expectation number 4: My yard is nice thick and green: Not with Trugreen. Brown spots and dead grass all over.
Expectation number 5: They are customer-focused. Not with Trugreen. They are rude and don't return phone calls.
Expectation number 6: I should be a happy customer. Not with Trugreen. Trugreen could care less. I miss Agrolawn.
Expectation number 7: They take pride in their work. Not with Trugreen. Truegreen could care less. I miss Agrolawn.
I will fire Trugreen. Yes, I am not happy!

A vindictive company who illegally used Angie’s list feedback in this forum because I wrote a bad review on them and did not hire them. I know who they are and I will relentlessly pursue them legally.
