A Nigerian who claims to be studying in London,  by name Oguchi Charles Onyekuru,  gave me the web address of Raider Publishing International  and asked me to contact them  directly for the publishing of my new poetry book : "MY Ancestors Cannot Die" in New York as I  had specifically requested to be guided to do.

It is pertinent to state that at the time  Mr. Oguchi Charles Onyekuru  introduced  Raider Publishing International to me,   he made me understand that the company had some reputation in book publishing in Europe, and I believed him.  In the premises, I contacted Raider Publishing International at their web address and they responded by demanding my manuscript  which I promptly sent to them by email for review.  After a while,  Raider acting through one Adam Salviani  wrote back accepting my  manuscript.  I  was then  made to remit the sum of 849 US Dollars to them through HSBC to cover the cost of producing the book.  They sent me a contract document which I signed and returned to them by email for their own signature and return. They have till date not signed and returned the contract to me as expected. that is the first problem.

The second problem that has arisen is that after  remitting the above sum of money to them,  they officials dealing me on behalf of raider Publishing international namely Adam Salviani and Katherine Flaherty changed their attitude to the transaction completely and will no longer answer my inquiries. I  requested  Flaherty for  her  telephone number so that we could be talking  on phone but surprisingly she declined to supply one to me.  She promised to send the signed contract to me together with an official receipt for the payment made but till date has done nothing.

In other words, I am not sure of the contract as I have no executed copy of same to found  a claim. Salviani and Flaherty (assuming these are real names)  have my manuscript and my money.  I gave them written notice of my intention to sue but they have persevered in their seeming fraud and will not talk to me.

If all that I have been reading about the company in Ripoff Reports are true, then  I have made my mistakes and I need help to immediately recover my manuscript and money from Salviani and Flaherty.   I am no longer interested in the transaction since they  have willfully  failed to consummate by signing the contract and delivering a copy to me. This ripoff has to be investigated, please.

Unfortunate Rebutal By Charles Onyekuru

AUTHOR: Frank Az - ()

POSTED: Thursday, December 26, 2013

My attention has just been called to the report by the above-named who prompted me to send my valued manuscript and dollars to Raider Publishing International (RPI) for publishing.

I do not think that in my comments to Ripoff I charged him directly for the fraud but he is uncharitably denying the obvious - i.e. that what he told me was that the company had previuosly published the works of his friend in the United Kingdom, and that the conpany is credible. He knows also that I relied on that misrepresentation innocently and sent my manuscript and money to RPI after clearing with him that I could go ahead to send my manuscript.

The truth he cannot also in good conscience deny is that when I first reported the RPI fraud to him, he undertook to go and see the company offiicals at its London office. Later, he said he would do so after his examinations. The last discussion I had with him was during what he called a telephone conference with an official of the company in London. I had my doubts about that conference  because it was  cut halfway from the London end, and before I could extract the information I needed to understand fully what was going on. Charles did not submit the phone number of the RPI London office to me to enable me follow matters up with them. The phone number he used to get the London office would have been useful to me and my investigation agent because none of the lines on the RPI website works.

My case is that since Charles knows the company that has defrauded me, RPI, as they have been in physical touch, he could do well recovering my manuscript and money. Charles suggests I should sue the  company. I will do so if he can get me their legal address. He suggested I contact the American Embassy - but the Embassy does not have the name of RPI in its database. The company is unknown there, existing only on the internet. And I am sure from what other victims have reported to Ripoff, this is  scam company.

Please note I did not intend to join issues on this with Charles. My present reaction is because I still need my manuscript and money, and Charles has since stopped taking calls.

Why not take a legal action against Raider Publishing International.

AUTHOR: Oguchi - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 22, 2013

I have read in dismay the report of Frank Azuoma trying to link me up with the purported Raider Publishing scam. I wish to say that I studied in London and I live here. So, it is a fact and not a claim. That I recommended Raider Publishing International does not mean that I am a party to their transactions. I have no dealings with them. I have to say that my recommendation was done in good faith because someone known to me was negotiating with them at that time for the publication of his book. However, I came to knowledge of Frank's transaction with Raider a year after my recommendation, when he told me of his suspicion of foul play on the side Raider. I called Raider's office in New York and London but to no avail. I have to say also that, I was not aware of their monetary transactions, this happened without my consent. However, I feel that Frank would have reported to American embassy in Nigeria as well as employ the service of a legal advicer in order to get his money and materials. I am a good citizen and have continued to render my good services to humanity.
