There are multiple publishers in the US that have procured money from neighborhood businesses for ad space in a coupon mailer provided by RAM Theater Services, formerly RAM, RAM Marketing, RAM/3 Seed Media, Capital Color Mail.
These publishers, including myself, have then paid RAM Theater Services a minimum of $5290 and up to $7990 on each press event, who was contracted to have the coupon mailers printed and direct mailed to said neighborhoods, only to find out that the coupon mailers were either never printed or were printed and never delivered to the neighborhoods as stated.
RAM and its owner, Shaun Boylan, have held onto or spent the monies paid to them that were designated for the printing of the magazines and/or the postage to the USPS on the magazines. It turns out the printer was unaware of the Ponzi scheme going on and it appears as RAM Marketing/RAM Theater Services has duped everyone involved. [continued below]....
Several graphic designers have had their name and business ruined due to this scheme. A couple of designers have homes now in foreclosure. Others have lost hundreds of dollars, while others have lost thousands.
Quad Graphics sued Shaun Boylan, and his company Capital Color Mail, and was awarded more than $20 million dollars in the lawsuit. Shaun has yet to pay and Quad Graphics continues to pursue him.
Michael J. Boylan, aka Shaun, has been arrested for forgery and counterfeiting as of 6/7/12. He was served eviction papers as of 7/25/12. He continues to recruit innocent people to publish his magazines that pay for these magazines in advance with certified checks or cashiers checks, yet they receive them very late, if at all.
RAM Theater Services, it's owner Shaun Boylan, and his partner/employee John LeRe III, should be stopped from recruiting more people and prevented from scamming more people out of their hard earned money.
