Ramada Plaze Resort ripoff vacation package will not refund money Ft. Lauderdale Florida

A few years ago myself and my fiancee were interested in taking a vacation. Then we got this package in the mail. We signed up for it. We were told that we would have three years to take it.Well times were getting hard and we were getting to where we could not afford it anymore. We told them that we were going to cancel the bank account and that we could not take this trip. Also because now my fiancee is a over the road truck driver and cannot be off the road for a long amount of time. I cannot get this time off from my job because we are having finacial problems. We had totally let time go by and forgot about it.

Now I get this call today about the trip and that the time had run out and we had and I do mean had. $700.00 into this trip.We told them over a year ago that we could not take this trip.We still can't and then they went on talking about how they can add more time if we can come up with another $1200.00.I told them NO. They said that you just threw away $700.00 and we were don't able to get that back. We were not told that it was NON - Refundable. This is not fair. In the last year I had lost my grandmother and my grandfather. I am trying to deal with this and now I have to deal with a BIG COMPANY LIKE Ramada Plaza Resort. That loves to steal Money for the little people thinking that we don;t care. How can I get some help here. I can really use that money back. It is Big companies like this . Is why you cannot trust them.

I am also going to send this site to a local News investigation station and I am hoping that something can be done. This is not right and this is not how to run a business. I know that if customers come into my place of business and put something on law-a-way. They cannot afford it. We give them there money back.It is only fair.
