On August 8, 2015, I agreed to purchase an annuity from Mr. Kricke. The next day I changed my mind and notified him in writing. He agreed to cancel it. The next day I decided to move forward with it. He submitted the paperwork to American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company. The following day I still had no peace about my decision so I told him to cancel it.

He called the company and told them NOT to process the application when they received it - and NOT to cash my check. Ignoring his request, some clerk deposited my check. Since there were insufficient funds in the account, the check bounced and I was charged $36 NSF fee. I called Randy and told him what happened. I requested my $36 be reimbursed. He, in turn, forwarded my request too the company and asked THEM to reimburse me.

This was over a month ago and so far no one has reimbursed me. It is clearly the company's fault, but they are non-responsive. Since Randy is my agent, I would like HIM to reimburse me and then try to collect from the company he represents. Thank goodness I did not trust them to pay me back in 10 years on a large annuity contract.

I have a letter from this person thanking me for getting his $36 NSF money back and also for my professionalism.  It took me close to a month to get this done.  This fellow was not happy with the amount of time it took.  I also explained to him that I cannot give him money.  Even this very small amount would put my license in jeoparty, and it is a good thing I did everything by the rules.

I offered to take him out to dinner and spend $36 on him, but that was not enough.  I moved heaven and earth to get this man the $36 back, which in reality was not due to him since he bounced a check.  But I did it anyways.  My problem with him was he was calling me not only every day but multiple times per day.  I told him that companies of this size write checks on certain days and when the money was due.  He kept calling me wanting the money immediately, which he already knew was not going to happen.  To me this was pretty odd behavior.

I have been in this business since 2007.  This is the only person ever to be unhappy with my work, and I don't feel it is justified.

Actually, it IS true....

Everything I wrote in my initial report on Sept 19th is true. I had waited patiently for 30 days and the company - as well as Randy Kricke - was non-responsive. So I filed this accurate report. Soon thereafter, a woman from the annuity company did respond, apologized for the delay and issued a check. I am now satisfied with my refund from American Equity. However, Randy Kricke's behavior throughtout this ordeal has been less than professional. He engages in character attacks and lies.

This is a pretty nutty guy.  Twice he was on and off about putting in an annuity.  The last conversation I had with him was to send the check through in which I was holding.  I overnighted the check to American Equity and they had already cashed the check.  He had put a stop pay on the check and had incurred NSF charges.  I put in a request to reinburse him for the NSF charge.  I have a copy of the check from American Equity reinbursing him for the charge.  When you deal with a big company they don't move immediately.  He had the check within 30 days.  I also have a copy of an emial he sent me thanking me for getting his money back.

I did and went beyond the call of duty and this fellow put in a compliant against the person that helped him and did not correct the false acusation against me.  All of this over $36.  I will never deal with him again nor would I recommend any financial person to do so.

His issue is that no one moved fast enough for him even though I informed him that it would take about 30 days for this to take place.  I even have copies of the letters that the company sent him.

This is a multi trillion dollar company with the highest ratings by A. M. Best and he states he did not trust them to pay him over a period of time.  He would be the only person in the history of the company if that were the case.  If you read his ranting you will see this is a mentally disturbed person
