I was contacted by email by a Christine Whitman, with a return email that said torotoexecutives, but it was a gmail account which I didn't notice at first.  The email said she had come across my resume and asked if she could forward it to people in her organization to be considered for job openings.  About a week later I received a call to set up an interview with RDG.

I went to the interview and while waiting in the reception area, another person was asking questions of the receptionist about what the initials RDG stood for, and asked for literature on the organization.  I wasn't paying that much attention, and wondered why the person was asking so many questions, and then thought, why aren't I asking questions?  I don't know anything about where I'm sitting either, just assumed it was a recruitment firm.

Since I've already read some of the complaints, I'll just focus on the similarities of my experience to help give weight to the 'consistent abuses' that this company is using:

- Legitimate companies don't use gmail accounts to solicit people.  It's easy to set up business emails, and since this company has a website, those emails should be linked to the company name.
- If in doubt about any of the things you've read here, just look at their website, to-job-success.net, as legitimate businesses have information about their company, their services, affiliates etc.  This website is barely a front, with nothing informative provided.
- If you cannot get detailed information on the company from the website, the person emailing you, or the receptionist, RUN!
- Recruiters take on clients they can market to their business partners.  They get paid by the business partner to provide qualified candidates.  They do not make you feel like you won the lottery by being one of the few chosen that day/week/month to pay them money to find you a job!
- When a company says they barely have time for you, and that you are lucky to have the opportunity to be chosen to meet with them, and then all of a sudden are available the very next day or on the weekend (outside of business hours) to have the next appointment, RUN!

I'm sorry if you have been misled by these people.  It's very cruel that they get peoples hopes up and try and take advantage when people are vulnerable and in genuine need of assistance in their career search.
