Readers Across America took my money and ran with no conscience ripoff Denver Colorado

A college student was selling magazines at a grocery store. He said the more magazines he sells the more points he gets to take his trip. I hesitated. Then I was interested in two magazines he had to subscribe to. I gave him a check and he gave me a receipt. 3 months later no magazines yet. I called the company several times and left messages. Only an answer machine was given. They have given no web address or e-mail or support site. Then I received a letter that my subscription should be here in about 4-6 weeks. That it was a problem with the publishers. This was back in August 2006.

It is now Nov. 2006 and still no magazines. I have reported this with the BBB of Denver and Attorney Generals office. No one has given me any answers or money back. How can this be? We are suppose to be protected through our consumers rights and this Company if it even exists should be fined and penalized for this. This has happened around the whole U.S.

Why are they getting away with this? My next step is to start writing to the media about this case. I won't let it go after reading what they have done to other consumers.
