Real Property Management West Valley Run, Don't Walk, Bad Customer Service Peoria Arizona

This is the worst property management company I've used and I've used many in a number of different states. Unlike what they claim in their advertising, RPM West Valley is anything but aggresive in their marketing of properties. For $375 they will take a few (blurry) photos of your property and post to mostly free sites. After a few months of no activity on the property they will suggest listing on MLS for more money (3% of the annual lease amount regardless if the tenant breaks the lease). RPM will inform you that there is an over abundence of homes to rent and will provide you with a fictitious number of properties available to rent in the market, supposedly from MLS data.

However, one only needs to review MLS to find the opposite and in fact will find that homes of similar size and location are renting within weeks. So, you are suckered into an upfront $375, then an additionaly 3% of the total annual lease amount (hundreds of dollars) and to get out of contract (beacuse who would want to stay with them as they are not activley trying to rent your property) you must provide 30 days written notice (more wasted time your property is not getting rented) AND pay 3 months management fee! Wow, what a racket!

Finally, RPM West Valley customer service is the WORST, HORRID and RUDE! The receptionist acts like she is doing you a favor and god forbid she says hello or thank you for calling etc.! I don't understand why any business owner would want a RUDE and unfriendly receptionist as the first impression of their business....doesnt make sense. I will say that IF you can speak to a leasing agent the one I have worked with is friendly, however forget about ever getting a direct response from the owner/broker Lisa.

Overall, the property management business is filled with a lot of sleazy businesses and people, not all but many, and RPM West Valley is no exception.
