As real estate manager I am writing to give you background about the experiences with Rebecca Wagley Blodgett and the details leading up to the Worcester Housing Court 225 Main Street Worcester MA 01608 Civil Action No. 13-SP-1008. Monetary Juidgment July 5, 2013 $5708.88. document NO 13H85SP001008.
Rebecca Blodgett was known by the landlord for ten years. Stories from Rebecca Blodgett about her ex-husband Jim Blodgett being “negligent”, not providing enough money for daily living expenses. Rebecca Blodgett was suspended from practicing law in Massachusetts for a few months.
July 2012 Rebecca Blodgett, her four children, and a large dog moved into landlord property. Landlord did not do a credit check or request a deposit. Rebecca Blodgett was referred by a family member. Rebecca Blodgett said she could handle the rent. Landlord did not ask for last month or deposit upfront from Rebecca, she insisted that landlord finish the basement. The initial check Rebecca Blodgett paid was for July, August and September 2012. Starting in October 2012 payments were late. By November 2012 Landlord began realizing that Rebecca was not a trustworthy or good tenant. Complaints regarding noise coming from the condo and dog excrement in the yard began coming on a regular basis from the other condo owners. Upon information and belief, the dog urinated inside the apartment baseboard heater.
After serving a Notice to Quit, there was a mediation session at the Housing Court in Worcester in which Rebecca Blodgett agreed to pay a $100 a week until the rent was repaid. This was not adhered to and proved to be a false statement. Additionally, Rebecca’s Blodgett's lawyer promised that Rebecca would sell her van, and send the sale proceeds to reduce her debt. Rebecca sold the van, and never sent the proceeds as promised. Rebecca Blodgett allowed so much noise to emanate from the home that neighbors all complained to the landlord. No one cleaned up after her large dog, and with his scratching and urinating ruined the wood floors. Rebecca Blodgett reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Forrest Terral. Rebecca Blodgett indicated she was in a serious relationship. Rebecca Blodgett lists 7520 Foxview Dr, Warrenton VA 20186 as her address. Same as Forrest Terral Upon information and belief, Forrest Terral purchased a new red van for Rebecca Blodgett.
Landlord received a judgment from Worcester Housing Court on July 5, 2013 in the amount of $5708.88 for unpaid rent. This does not include the almost $3000 in damages to the condo.
In my opinion, Rebecca Blodgett is a deadbeat, talks a good game, and has committed a fraud against the landlord.
