Regency Beauty Institute - Cypresswood, Texas Campus Not worth what they are charging for this course Spring, Texas

I too would like to add that Regency Beauty Institute is a total waste of your money!! This school promises top notch education and what you receive is probably not worth the fees they charge at a community college.

In response to the other report that was posted regarding this school, I must say that the Assistant Campus manager is by far, the most unprofessional individual that I have ever encountered.  Not only has she been unprofessional with the students, we have also witnessed her being unprofessional with the clients.  This woman should not be in any MANAGEMENT position whatsoever, so I question Corporate's decision in even hiring her.   She brings her personal life to school with her and cannot separate when she is having a bad day personally with her professional life.  

Regency is only interested in your money.  We have had numerous occasions where their sub-par computer systems would not clock you out, and instead of the school being proactive in assisting you, ESPECIALLY when you have been in class AND working on a client, so clearly you were present, they shrug their shoulders and advise that there is nothing that they can do for you!!! We even had one of our classmates to pass away and we were told that we could attend the funeral and still get our hours, but they changed their minds AFTER the fact.  

Regency also treats their ADULT students and though they are children, at times chastising us like we are children, and changing the rules to suit THEIR needs.   You never know if you will have a teacher at any given time on the floor with you...especially if the Assistant Campus manager is on duty, she may hide in the office until you literally have to go and call her to come and look over your work....

This particular campus only have a couple of teachers that inspire you to do your best, one is a male, and the other is a part-time instructor that only teaches the new students.  Probably because she is an excellent instructor and by the time that you have to come out to the floor with the Assistant Campus Manager, and another instructor that is so totally clueless it is not even funny, that if she is not sure what to do and you call her to check your work, she will just ignore you...not only that...even after being at the school for almost a year as an instructor cannot even work the register correctly.   It's a joke.  

I advise any one interested in cosmetology to not EVEN think about Regency.  They will take your money, Corporate is a joke, you can never get in touch with anyone that is truly helpful and will offer you no guidance whatsoever.

I am so glad that I am almost done, but I will NEVER refer anyone to Regency and I advise anyone look for a cosmetology school to go anywhere BUT Regency.
