SO, FOR YOU ENTREPRENEUR. READ VERY WELL MY POST. THIS IS HOW THIS COMPANY PAYS YOU BACK. TERRIBLE SERVICE, OVERPRICED, ABUSIVE AND MISCHIEVOUS CONTRACTS. BEWARE!

DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. STAY AWAY FROM IT. THERE ARE PLENTY OF CHOICES OUT THERE WITH DECENT CONTRACTS. THIS IS PREDATORY CORPORATISM.

Here is my story.

I am a recent immigrant. I decided to open my own tech business. Last year I decided to BELIEVE in this company. I signed up for one of the cheapest services they have, around $70 a month. I went to their websites and completed the whole process.

Here starts my experience with them...

First, I never got a notification when new mail had arrived, except ONCE. After that. NEVER. I had to personally go there and check because I felt I couldn't trust their "notification" efforts. Plus, a couple of times I was given mail that wasn't for me. I almost open one of those letters.

After one year, I decided to cancel my service since I was paying $70 a month for nothing. Letters that I didn't even know they were coming in. $70 a month! That's the cost of 4 PO BOX... but, whatever. misleading ad on TV got me in.

Now, here is where it gets better.

I walk in the office. 2002 Summit Blvd Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30319.
I speak to Rosemary Bennett. I MUST say that Ms. Bennett is the sweetest person. Very nice. Very professional. As a matter of fact, we established a nice friendship (not to a surprise since I had to go there all the time to check for new mail).
So, I walk in the office. I request a cancellation form. She hands it to me. I sign it. She says, "that's it". I say "That's it? Is everything good?" She says Yes. We say goodbye to each other. Nice meeting you, etc. etc. and leave the office.


Seems like that question was like a curse.


15 DAYS LATER!!!, I got a RUDE, THUG STYLE, LAW FIRM calling me to pay them $1400+ dollars that I owe to Regus. I very politely told this guy, RAY KEY, from Tucker, Albin & Associates that it was probably a mistake because I had paid all my dues to Regus. The guy at this point cuts me off and basically starts bullying me into paying RIGHT NOW. I say, I am sorry, I can't pay for something I don't know. I will go to talk to Regus, the office is nearby. This guy says HE HAD INSTRUCTED THE MANAGER NOT TO TALK TO ME. Hilarious.

Of course, I went to see the manager. Typical young corporate dude. Big fake smile. Typical corporate super strong handshake. (I am 6'2', 260lbs. Ex-boxer. I don't get impressed by that).

He takes me to a room. I explain the situation to him. He comes up with some 3 months notification clause and auto renewal crap AND some unpaid balance. I ask him, "Why Ms. Bennett didn't mention anything to me. She clearly looked at my account. She said everything was fine. All of a sudden, 15 days later, I am in collection for $1400+?". He says, I will look into and will give you a phone call as soon as I have a response for you. This was in July or beginning of August. His name is Tom Tumbleson. He NEVER called me neither responded to my emails. NEVER.

I have all my credit card statements that show I paid every single month.

I went back to the office after collector kept calling in. He never faced me again. I knew he was in his office because I could recognize his voice. Instead Ms. Bennett told me he was out of the office and she would give him my note. Never called me.

Almost october and I keep getting phone calls from this law firm. Always the same intimidatory tone, threatening me to report to the credit agencies. They don't want to listen. They just want the money NOW.

14 months remaining in contract? Are you kidding me? You know as a company that I am not using your services anymore. You still have the nerve to charge for one year of services I am not using? It clearly says termination date as of 7/31.

If this is not a SCAM, what is it? Their contract is just abusive and crazy. Isn't a termination/cancellation an end to a contract? This is ridiculous.

I have read many bad reviews about Regus. Too late for me.


Unfortunately I know Regus will not do anything about it. The unleashed this debt collector predators after me. After all I have read about them, I just can't but regret the minute i click on that Sign Up button.
