The Good:
The Price
When your software and phone works (operational with lots of bugs)
Changing plans to meet your needs easily
The idea of Wifi calling

The Bad:
1. When your software and phone does not work, you are stuck with a ticket system or chatting with someone who eventually puts you in the ticket system that can take hours to days and if you are like me, you have already done everything they are going to tell you to do, then you are without a phone, and have lost texts and voicemail. You really feel like you are in Dante's 7th circle of hell.

2. Switching back and forth from wifi to Sprint Network, calls get stuck in limbo, phone rebooting, monsters eat your text messages (and your friends and family sent you some awesome memorable pictures that you didn't get until you see them in person!), the wifi RW software parasite that tries to keep turning on when you have no open Wifi in sight and therefore can't use the phone until you turn wifi off.

3. The republic community can be helpful, but they can easily become the republic communists, and if you dare complain or vent your frustration (with no curse words), you will be eaten alive, your discussion will be locked, and the Social Media Action team will be after you. Yes, they are mean and green.

4. I have two brick phones ($670) killed by Republic software updates and they are 1.5 years old, and RW and motorola will not cover the software and hardware issues. You have to buy a used/new phone to continue, or pay for the repairs, or cancel the service.

5. Those phones are locked only for RW, so they will be dead phones after you escape.

6. Social Media Action Team (SMAT). I wish they were the tech and customer service people because you get a response right away!

7. Remember those dead phones, now we have to spend another couple days trying to switch and have to buy new/used phones (but hence you can probably unlock  it on other phone carriers!).  Didn't a law pass to unlock your phones anyways?

8. The phone calls aka Assisted Dialing ERROR.  Are you talking to a robot? or silence? or half way through your call locks up and your mom is angry because she thought you hung up on her.

9. Reliability. Can I really call 911?

10. Until good Wifi is available everywhere.....I feel like this phone service is like staying at my grandmother's house in Vietnam: I have to turn off the light to turn on the TV or do a cartwheel to flush the toilet.
