We hired Rhino Development & Roofing in April 2013 to repair damage caused by a tornado. Five months later, and after having paid a deposit, still no roof. No one there communicated with each other or with us, zero organization, and an owner who was MIA for months. Employees of Rhino also had vicious arguments with our insurance adjuster and with the city inspector.

After the owner finally got involved, he promised to immediately remedy some outstanding issues but failed to keep his promise. One promise was to fix a leaky tarp that is covering our exposed roof decking. It was not repaired and water leaks into our house when it rains.

We finally informed the owner of our intention to sever our relationship with his company, and he blew up and stormed out of our house. He tried to claim we were being dishonest about our insurance claim as he was stomping off but would not listen to the facts. We were, very calmly, trying to explain that he was simply uninformed about all the facts and the events that had actually occurred since he hadn't been involved.

Unfortunately, some of the emyployees that had been involved are no longer employed there, which is probably a good thing, but it certainly didn't help our situation. The owner will not take our calls now. While he agreed that we would "cut ties," we still have an unresolved issue of the deposit we had paid them.

This is the most unprofessional, disorganized contractor I've ever worked with, and that's saying a lot!

I Understand that This May be true

I, too, am a consumer who have experienced the same with this company. The owner is a joke! We had tornado damage in our area in May 2013 and they took FOREVER to do the roof and gutter work. They were paid and had other work to do, but I was tired of asking them when will the work get completed. The owner gave some lame excuse about taking on too many jobs, but who's fault is that? Not my problem.

A lien was placed on my house from some building supplier who said Rhino did not pay the bill. I also ran across another consumer in Ferguson, MO who stated that she had the same problems with Rhino not giving her dates of completion and the run around. She also said that they falsified claims to her insurance company and she had to let her insurance company know that work has not been done.

 I hope you have luck with this. I just decided not to pay them and the other consumer said she would pay them, but only for work done. I do not recommend this company to anyone. You are correct - the staff they helped us no longer works for them and I understand why.
