In April 2014, I bought an online business comprised of six online websites from Mr. Richard Legg of Platinum Marketing Solutions, LLC for $997 via credit card online purchase. Mr. Legg, unfortunately, via his website and repeated emails sent to me, falsely guaranteed me that I would make $100K per year income which never happened, despite me spending nearly $2200 out of pocket costs for related online business purchases, and many months of hard labor to make his online business work and to be profitable.

Then, after fulfilling all of Mr. Legg's refund requirements, he adamantly, repeatedly refused to refund within the promised time frame of six months. Then, when I persisted in my refund requests, he suddenly without warning disabled my six business websites he sold me, changed the refund rules mid-stream whimsically to justify his grounds for not honoring my refund requests, covertly charged my bank account $90 without my consent for a "free" auto responder account.

Mr. Legg even admitted publicly via his alleged "real life testimonials," on his website that all of them which, like myself, in reality, had only made a few pathetic measly bucks($45) off of, a tiny fraction of the much touted, advertised $100K annual online income Mr. Legg  publicly promises on his online ads and promotional emails sent to me and many others on his email subscription list which he repeatedly sends out. None of us had made more than $100 total, sadly.

Mr. Legg's online scam product via his false advertising, theft, and breach of purchase contract has left me $2200 short and viewing that 99% of all online money-making sites are merely bonafide scams such as Mr. Legg's.

One last word of warning to others considering in the future to AVOID Richard Legg of Platinum Marketing Solutions at all costs since they will be sorely disappointed and lose, rather than make any money as this is one of those myriad number of those textbook types of "get rich quick schemes" based upon my own personal experience.

I would like an apology from Richard Legg for misleading and promising me that I would make $100K per year income when I and several others have made only a few pathetic dollars, causing us to lose money from his online business. Regretfully, I have been duped by Mr. Legg's extravagant and false promises. He even reneged on his money-back guarantee which is clearly a breach of contract and outright fraud. Hence, do Not trust your money with this man....ever. Only heavens knows how many have been similarly victimized.

Hence, buyer Beware of Mr. Legg and his outfit Platinum Marketing Solutions, LLC. Avoid and save yourself much grief, money and headache.

RE: Attn: Richard Legg re: Urgent: settlement out of court offer

RE: Urgent: Attn: Richard Legg re: settlement offer for you

Dear Richard Legg:

Hi, here is my offer to you. I feel in a generous, genial mood, and would like to avoid going to court in order to obtain my full refund of $2200 from you, all the attendant costs including the $997 amount for all the 6 websites I bought from you in April 2014. Instead of taking this matter to court in order for me to regain the $2200 + court costs and legal fees of hiring an attorney, I would like to settle this matter out of court asap. All you have to is re-credit back to my CC on file or mail me a check payable to me at: Tommy Lee, within the next 21 days. If you need my mailing address, it should still be in your files. Hence, Oct. 3rd, 2016 would be the last day to refund the amount of $997, (instead of the $2200 I am asked for originally). This will fully resolve this matter in full and stop all legal proceedings and we shall call this even and a settled matter, and I'll just fire my lawyer early. Court and having to hire an attorney is no fun for any of us. However, a non-response from you after Oct. 3rd, means that the legal proceedings shall proceed as planned in order for me to secure my refund from you. Reply today with your serious, prompt response via my email address at: healneagle@aol.com and with a payment of $997. Thank you.

sincerely,

Tommy, pacifica, CA.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Please read and see video for proof

AUTHOR: Owner of company - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 16, 2016

The great thing about the internet is that it allows people to speak their mind.

It also makes it incredibly easy for people to make any kind of claim they want - whether it be true or not.

I'll provide a response here, along with as much proof as possible, in the hope that anyone reading this can make an informed decisision, and if any questions remain you can feel free to reach me at ReplyToRichard.com.

Please watch this short video first regarding these specific claims:

https://youtu.be/EDNQITzpEaI

1) First of all we do not ever, and would never, guarantee that someone is going to make X amount per year. We have no way of knowing how well a person will follow instructions, or how much work they will put in. It would be highly unethical to guarantee someone would make any amount. That claim is 100% false.

The customer purchased a website setup service from us. That service was provided *exactly* as described within the 3 days as promised (it was actually delivered in HALF the promised time).

Because we believe in overdelivering and making sure customers have the best chance of success possible, this customer paid for a $997 package but received an EXTRA $1997 package as a free bonus.

2) We have not deleted any customer's sites. That claim is also untrue. All of the files we built for the customer are still on the server (as you can see in the video above).

After 12 months, customers may have to confirm their ownership of the domain with ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).

This is a 3rd party that has nothing to do with us as can be seen here from the ICANN website:

https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/contact-verification-2013-05-03-en

From that site it says about the "2013 Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA)", "Registrars must suspend or delete domain names that are not timely verified."

The customer is sent multiple emails by the domain registrar to verify his ownership. If however the customer does not click this confirmation link, the domain may go to a 'pending' state as explained by ICANN above.

All of the files we provide are still active on the hosting server in the case of a pending domain confirmation.

However, all the customer needs to do is click the verification link to confirm their ownership and the domain is reactivated.

In this case, the customer did NOT click the verification link in any of those emails, so ICANN (not us) put his domain into a pending state.

After a whole 12 months of not clicking the verification link, the domain registrar then sent him numerous emails stating his domain was due for renewal. He ignored these emails too and so his domain expired.

Once we provided the website to the customer 3 days after purchase it is his. It's up to him to click the confirmation link after 12 months, or renew it after 24 months.

So the claim we "deleted" his site is blatantly untrue - as you'll see in the video above, all the files are still there.

NOTE: The customer can re-register the domain name today, point it back to our server and everything will work as it originally did.

If he needs help with this, we would be more than happy to assist him getting it working again once he renews it.

3) If the customer has spent $2200 on marketing services, those are from a 3rd party, not us.

He paid us $997 total and for that received everything advertised for the $997 package and also a $1997 package as a bonus.

We provide hours and hours of training on free marketing methods that customers can use (training that has sold separately for over $3,000 - the customer got it free as part of his package).

We are not responsible for any 3rd party services the customer may purchase from other people.

We do NOT sell marketing services - we sell a website setup service, and that is what was provided.

The customer paid us for the website setup and was provided with one exactly as advertised and agreed upon.

We would never recommend a customer spend $2000+ on marketing if they don't know what they're doing.

4) We provide a dedicated support desk for customers after purchase should they need help.

This particular customer has over *ONE HUNDRED* helpdesk entries (many of which are rude and threatening).

We have answered EVERY single support request the customer has opened.

We cannot be ultimately responsible for how customers market their sites, how well they follow instructions, or if they fail to keep their domain active.

We provided everything that was advertised for the $997 price, and more as well as a $1997 upgrade package for free, over $3,000 in training and extensive customer support.

5) This service costs us several hundred dollars to fulfill. So with regards to our guarantee on this service our refund policy clearly states (in several places before purchase) that to qualify for a refund, customers have to follow the training for at least 6 months AND keep their sites active.

Customers have to specifically agree to those terms before we start any work on the project.

The customer requested a refund less than 3 months after purchase, and without following any of the training as can be seen here:
http://screencast.com/t/LSOBuj1J5

He also voluntarily chose to cancel his GetResponse email account needed for the sites to be able to function as intended.

We told him if he didn't want to put in the work, he was free to sell the sites to someone else and we'd assist with transferring everything over.

He declined to do accept our assistance with this and instead has now accused us of scamming him and then deleting his sites.

...

If anyone has any questions about this, they can feel free to reach me at my helpdesk - ReplyToRichard.com - I'm a real person and I care about my customers.

I've built a business through helping people so if you have a concern I would love to address it personally rather than have you rely on inaccurate information you find on some website.  I'm not perfect, and mistakes happen.  When they do I'll do my best to put it right.  However, in this case the claims from the customer have no basis in fact.

Again, if the customer is reading this - if you want to re-register the domain you let expire we will help you point it back to our server so that everything works as it originally did. Everything we setup for you is still there.
