Do Not Buy Ridgid Tools!!!!!!!!!

or anything made for or by Ridge Tool Company, One World Technoligies, Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions.  They will not honor there Lifetime Service Agreement!  Here is the Problem:

I am at this time investigating and in mediation with the Better Business Bureau about tools that i purchased online "ebay". The Tools were brand new in the original box with all the paper work with exception of an original receipt also they have never been used. Looking at the box it says In the corner of the box  " Lifetime Service Agreement " Under this it says " Registration Required" on the bottom of the box it say " Product Registration, Original UPC code From the package and a copy of your original store receipt Required. It states nothing!!!! about being the original owner or you have to buy this from an authorized seller until you get inside the box or call the 1-800 number on the bottom of the box. This was reaffirmed by a representative that contacted me today  in reference to my filling of a complaint against them to the BBB, stating that because of buying it on ebay that i was not the original owner and they would only give me a 3yr Limited Warranty. I told the rep that this would not do!!!!!! that i would make it my mission to let as many people know as possible that they scam people and are not concerned enough to resolve this to my satisfaction!!!! They have underestimated my resolve!!!! I was also told that they have no control over resellers and if i would have called the number on the box or went online i would of known this. Tell me who does this!!!! My guess not many! and they know this so they hide the fine print and hook you on the side of the box with LIFE TIME SERVICE AGREEMENT!!!!

Now I'm not a lawyer but one would think this could be construed as misleading at the least. This could be resolved by them and i would reword or remove this and other information i post "If" they would just honor what it states on the side of the box!!! We shall see... Until then Beware!!
