Rite Rug Riduculous Customer Service and no pride in installation Columbus Ohio
Contracted with Rite Rug to install laminate flooring in a office.
Initial floor was installed on May 5th. 1/4 round and transition strips were horrible. Installer indicated could not use T mold had to have reducer strip. Contacted Don Johnson on May 5th indicating what installer had said.
Don ordered reducer strips however installation could not be until May 21st. Installer shows with no new 1/4 round, and indicates reducer strips will not work. And he would ensure new 1/4 round was ordered.
A week goes by and no call. Finally I call West Broad store on June 2nd, inquiring about setup. Receive a call on June 3rd for installation on June 10th. June 10th arrives and the installer states as soon as I open the door "you're going to be mad".....
The floor is "Exotic Walnut" they had ordered primed white 1/4 round. Needless to say after a month and three visits from Rite Rug installers I still do not have a completed floor. I called Rite Rug to be told I must contact customer service. That is truly a joke as indicated with other reports NO ONE answers the phone.
Now not only did I pay for installation I also paid for moving of the furniture, which I personally have moved three times anticipating the floor being completed.
The installer on the 10th. did however install the transition strips...the ones originally ordered that I was told by the orginal installer could not be used. However no 1/4 as of yet
Ugh! Beyond frustrated with this company.
