Rk's pictures of the car were gorgeous. But that's when after buying the car and upon delivery several discrepancies were noted. The driver of the enclosed trailer said he had to put the car on the bottom because it was leaking fuel, transmission fluid, and motor oil. The car came off the trailer and a closer inspection took place. The passenger plastic kick panel was broken in 3 places and had to be replaced. The box that contains the ecm and chip for the car's cover were missing one screw and the other stripped. The left directional signal worked only if you held it down. The back-up lights do not work. Rear main seal leaking oil. It's running on 5 of 6 cylinders.Busted passenger seat. It barely runs without stalling. The driver's side plastic pillar is cracked and broken. There was a puddle of transmission fluid on the ground in the 15 minutes it sat there. Yet RK insisted they had a pan under the car and it was dry when it left them. Then why was a pan necessary at all? Called and went up the chain to the VP of the Company. "Gerry" said you bought it "as-is". No warranty expressed or implied. They decceptively hid all the difficiencies and misrepresented the car as a restored car and one that was sure to increase in value. No satisfaction from anyone there. No willingness to discuss, resolve, or repair the parts that we know about. Not done yet. My mechanic still hasn't done a compression or leakdown yet. Repairs are certain to run into thousands depending on what we find when we get inside the engine.Based on our knowledge of the turbo 6's which we've owned for 30 years I know this is going to take on a whole new aspect when we get inside the engine. Don't do business with them. Don't buy anything unless you see it first hand and bring your mechanic with you armed with electronic testing equipment. Don't buy sight unseen. Don't expect anything once you've laid your monry down. Stay away.

Pal?

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Saturday, June 13, 2015

The last thing i am is your pal. You're too ignorant to use words like honesty, integrity, customer satisfaction. You'd rather use deception, misinformation, no information and just simply lie  about the true condition of your vehicles. I'm not wasting anymore of my time responding to someone who is so obviously devious and should never be in business.Look for other sites that I will visit and do my best to spread the word about RK Motors from Charlotte, NC.

"My" Advertising???

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, June 13, 2015

Its NOT my advertising, Pal!  Its not my store and I don't work there, either!  You bought a used car because you wanted a decent car.  How do YOU go about doing that?  You buy it based on a picture!  Incredible!  Are there no used car dealers where you live?

A SMART consumer...

1.  Doesn't send their money off to somebody they don't know.

2.  Doesn't buy a used car sight unseen.

3.  Doesn't blame everyone else because of their dumb actions!

P.T Barnum

POSTED: Friday, June 12, 2015

You call me an idiot for believing your advertising? Why don't you stop calling your customers idiodts for believing your ads? You just admitted a customer is an idiot for believing you. How stupid can you possibly be? I'm trying to take the high road here and you resort to PT Barnum? Is that really what a supposedly class outfit does? You're not class. You're classless. There is not much sense in debating the obvious. You will sucker anyone, anytime for any money you can get. There are words for you that I cannot print in this forum. But believe me, you haven't heard the last of this deal. The great thing about ebay and the net is that you have a forum to reveal the truth. I have the proof, You have nothing. You treat your customers like PT Barnum. Suckers. Well, if enough of us "suckers" expose you. You will no longer be. Enjoy your shallow victory against another customer who bought a misrepresented car from you. There's a bunch of us out here, Yoour day will come.

Customer Satisfaction

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Friday, June 12, 2015

THAT'S your response to all the things I know about right now and not those that I suspect I will find shortly? You advertise yourselves to be the "Tiffany" of classic car sales and all you can say to an unsatisfied customer in "buyer beware"? Are you kidding me? Your're not a class organization in the least. You're rip off artists that hide and conceal the truth about the cars you sell. I've seen your reports on the BBB and there's a bunch of people who were treated as I was. Stuff it RK. You represent the worse in customer satisfaction and resort to legalize terms instead of working with a customer to achieve satisfaction. How the hell to you have a 100% satisfaction rate on ebay? it's a lie.I have the pictures of how the car was delivered; called you on it; discussed it with you and you resorted to "you're stupid for beliveving us" advertising. I will do everything I can on the net to expose you for what you are, Rip off artists. All you had to do was work with me on the deficiencies. I'd had been reasonable. But you were not. You haven't heard the last of this. Just one of the avenues I have to resort to, albeit reluctantly, to expose you for what you stand for. That's you and not your customers. It'll catch up to you. You can't do this forever and stay in business. The facts remain. Broken parts, leaking transmission oil, motor oil, fuel leaks as reported by your OWN driver! It's obvious. You're in the hunt for suckers and not customers. Mea culpa for trusting you.

Somebody would have to be an absolute idiot to send off their money to somebody they don't know to buy a USED car based on a picture, a voice on the end of the phone and words on a computer screen!

You've proven ole' P. T. Barnum!  "A sucker is born every minute!"
