After authorizing a charge of $124.37 for a pair of shoes (that was the final amount including taxes before hitting the authorize button), I was surprised when I checked my credit car statement showing two charges, one for $124.37 and another for $31.09.
I immediately looked for the receipt in the box, it read "YOUR REFUND IS WAITING! Call us in the next 48 hours at 800.551.5558 to get your VIP savings back from this order"
Very shady practice on their part
You can judge it yourselves.
I called them, they made me sign up for their VIP account for $1.99 in order to get the refund... I agreed, and cancelled it immediately just to get my $31.09 back in my credit card. (The $1.99 is not refundable).
