I met Robert and Carolyn Finnerty in November 2009 during a in home consultation.  At the time they seem to present themselves as an honest photography company that would do a great job of photography at my wedding.  I signed a contract with them and sent a check to Carolyn (made out to her).  The contract clearly was for three albums.  After the wedding, Carolyn basically dropped off the planet (impossible to reach) and Robert was nearly impossible to reach (he never picked up his phone, and his voice mail was usually full). When I reached him, he was never clear about when I would receive the album and was not the least bit apologetic about the delay or being completely out of touch.  He did often blame another company he was working with - pictage. 

Months went by and  I did not know why it was taking SO LONG to receive my albums.  Eight months into this ordeal, one day I received a text from Robert telling me that album was complete and had been shipped. Although I have a contract that says I should receive three albums - I received only one.  Again - Robert and Carolyn Finnerty are impossible to reach.  I have not heard from them.  

My wedding day has been the most special day in my life. Unfortunately, due to Robert and Carioyn's disgusting behavior and poor service my memories of this day are tainted.  I had to fight with Robert constantly to receive updates about why my albums were taking so long.  When I finally did receive a product -- it was one album not three.  

Unlike the poor customer above I do have a copy of the contract as well as copies of checks (one made out to Carolyn Finnerty).  She may not work for Robert anymore -- but she is equally responsible.  No mature and responsible person just leaves a job and leaves clients hanging after charging them thousands of dollars. If she really was an innocent employee, why did she ask us to write her a check in her name.  

Robert and Carolyn - if you see this -- please deliver my other two albums.  As far as potential customers of Mirchi Productions - stay away from these two scam artists.

Dear Vargabi,

I am sorry you did not receive the additional wedding albums you ordered.  I have not worked with this company for over a year (so you would not be able to reach me at the office number).  I worked as a part-time salesperson for Robert (not paid by salary-only commission) and I did cash some checks for him as part of my job.  He told me that his original business failed and he was trying to start up a new company and had not yet established a bank account under the new name.  I trusted that this would be a temporary situation and that I was working for a professional individual who would produce the work for the clients in a timely manner.

I never meant to deceive anyone and I certainly did not make any money off of this job.  I only hoped it might turn into something - I have 20 years professional sales experience, enjoyed making appointments and meeting with Brides and found the wedding industry to be interesting and fun.

As far as me disappearing - I have a home phone, cell phone, have lived in the same town for over 25 years and I am listed on facebook and twitter.  I am obviously not hiding from anyone.  Also, I have attempted to assist some of my past clients' customer service issues (even though I no longer work for this company).  I have contacted Robert several times (by phone, emails and text) to advise him of customer complaints.  I do not have access to the office computer files, bank account or anything else so my hands are tied as far as getting hold of the pics is concerned.

If you would like to contact me directly you can reach me at cfinnerty20@aol.com.  Please don't print bad things about people without producing facts.  You can ruin someone's reputation (unjustly) and I am a working professional, wife and mother who is just trying to do a good job and keep my reputation in tact (which has been solid for my whole life).  I have never and will never scam anyone!
