Here is the truth about Robert VanDuren or Bob VanDuren.  He never raised one cent, and never had a successful business.  He is a back-stabber and a sell out.  He was the first to sell out his former boss and partner, Danny Pang.  He then came back to Pang, and sold him out.  He will say anything and do anything (yes - even sell his children and his wife Annette) to get some money his way, and avoid being held accountable for his sleazy dealings.  He spends money on hookers, but acts like an innocent (gee shucks I am from Michigan) sort of guy. 

He is the first to hit brothels and stripclubs.  This guy borrowed money from me, and refuses to pay it back.  He is involved in a number of lawsuits and business controvercies, and has a horrible reputation.  Keep your wallet in your pocket if you ever meet this slimeball.  If he tricks you into going to lunch, you will be paying.  Robert VanDuren lives for the free lunch and the $10k retainer.  If Bob VanDuren can repeat this process 5 times per year, he had a good run.
