We were successful a couple of times in the past and got decent deals, but then the hotels started feeling scammed by his tactics - so they became unwilling to help out with changes and modifications and we got BURNED. One hotel told us he seems to book rooms before an event ang gets a lower rate - but then schemes someone in the hotel to change the dates to event dates when rates should be higher - but sometimes the hotel won't honor the rate and you end up paying more after check-in.
We stopped using him because his claims got ridiculous. Call the hotel and they'll say they don't even sell the rate he offers, or that they don't know him. Then, he takes a deposit (not the hotel) and holds on to it FOREVER. We also got burned twice when he then suddenly CANCELLED our reservations and blamed the hotel - and then it took MONTHS to get the money back!
We think he works like a Ponzi scheme and is taking money to pay back other customers.
Also, do NOT cross him - he will become beligerent and curse you out. The show organizers have put out several warnings against working with him - but there's a sucker born every minute. Be CAREFUL - he's made threats to some of our employees too. Stay AWAY!

This is Blake Bridge owner or Room Connections, I have NEVER done business with this comany JackBoats out of Florida. We do market to the Miami boat show and I suspect this is the show managmnent committing fraud trying to ruin our reputation. Please contact me directly with any questions about this report. I will be calling Jack Boats Monday morning to get to the bottonm of this fradulent claim. We have beter rates for such shows as the Miami Boat show and show managmant is constanlty tryiung to shut us down.
In addition just after this complaint was files we recieved an email from Reputation Managment solicting us to clean up our reputation, this is cleary fraud.
