Rooms to Go They call finish on "leather couch" LEATHER. It is not leather Mobile Nationwide

My wife bought living room furniture including couch, love seat,end tables and lamps.

when furniture was barely 2 years old, it became obvious that couch "leather" was apparently sprayed on . My grandson sat on couch with a shirt that was wet in the back from sweat.

When I viewed couch later, it appeared that coating on couch was peeling off. When I called to report problem, I was told that since I didn't buy the "fabric care option, it was not their problem.

I usually sit on right hand side of couch to view tv an read newspaper. Not only has the finish come off leaving the couch looking terrible, the springs or what ever provides support under the seat has broken or come loose.

She also bought two Tiffany style lamps that the wire connecting the glass panels together have broken. I had to put new shades on the lamps.

I am familiar with artifical leather called Naugahyde that is used in side panels on furniture, car seats and other places.

Naugahyde is very similar to real leather and when used in side panels or areas that don't touch the person sitting. The mfg. will use real leather in the seat and back. This is a useless product and I would like to see someone come forward and satart a "class action" suit against Rooms to Go. They need to be held liable for the dishonesty and fraud of calling this cheap trash from being called "LEATHER"
