rooms to go Paid for furniture in full in September, they will hold till closing of house purchase, and there is no furniture available that matches what I purchased. Kissemee, Florida

Ordered and paid for furniture in September 2011 and was told that furniture will be stored until closing of new house, then delivered. Received information that the furniture that I paid for is no longer available. How can you sell what no longer exists and how can you take payment, when you don't have merchandise that was purchased. Now they do not want to refund money, just switch to cheaper crap furniture in place of what was purchased. this will most likely cancel out the free 32" TV's that were promised as part of the purchases. How can you sell furniture that someone else purchased? This is a real RIP-OFF! Would not take Credit card for purchase just electronic funds transfer, now they have the money and I am left trying to get what I ordered and paid for. No refunds but then again no merchandise either. Buy somewhere else, they called and wanted to deliver items of a different color or an incomplete set. Sharp business practices and switch and bait along with broken promises.

Still waiting for the manager to call back.

After making a few calls and not being able to speak to the manager or the sales person, I was told that they would call me back. 3 days have passed and the call never came. telling the customer this B S after the fact is still not customer service and bad business practices..

When setting up the purchase, your sales associate should have explained the terms and conditions for delayed delivery orders. Orders as these are not held at our distribution centers. As so, the sales associate should have explain that there could have been a possibility that the merchandise you selected would not be available in the future, depending on how far out the delivery was being pushed back to.
