 Bought a couch 6 months ago. Never any response to multiple emails. When I finally spoke with someone I was told "too bad". Couch is poor quality, offers no support and is hurtful to my body. Terrible customer service. Complete lack of willingness to help a long standing customer who only wants to exchange and remain a customer!

 I have actually been emailing the company for the last 6 months - within the time frame. Also, I DID purchase the extended warranty and it is a manufacturer defect with this specific couch. I have never returned an item outside the window before and I never expect anything free. But this product is defective and hurtful. I only want to excersize my wearranty option.. Thank you for you opinion!

 What you need to ask yourself is WHY will they not do an exchage for you. Its pretty simple. You have had and used this couch for 6 months. There is normally ONLY  a30 day window to do a return or exchange. If you are past that time frame, then there is NOTHING they can do for you LEGALLY!! Customer Service doesnt mean that they are going to take a hit on a couch that YOU purchased and used and they WILL NOT be able to sell it. Thats WHY they have a 30 day return/exchange window. During that time there is a chance that if you return your item, they will have a chance to resell it provided it is in like new condition. Past 30 days, you have to take ANY defects up with the manufacturer. You may be a "long time" customer, but that means didley squat. All it proves is that "long time" customer think they are entitled to better treatment then say the person who just walked in. If you are a long time customer then you KNOW their return policies and are using the web to pull "social Blackmail". Meaning you are attempting to circumvent the normal return process. You seek to embarrass them into giving you your way.

Companies can no longer AFFORD to give you satisfaction. WHY?? Because of consumers like yourself. YOU demand they take back a item that they cannot sell, cannot make back the money they put into it in order to purchase it themselves, and cannot take the lose on. YOU expect them to eat a couch six months later because you are unhappy. Unless you have an extended warrenty on the couch, there isnt much they will be able to do for you. So you WANT them to take back a couch that YOU have used and abused and replace it with ANOTHER brand new couch. Kinda unfair of you to ask them to do that for you. YOU wouldnt do that for a stranger you DO NOT KNOW. They wont either. It wouldnt matter that you made your purchase through them, YOU have unrealistic demands and expectations. Demands and expectations that NO BUSINESS can or will do anymore. The American Consumer has so screwed businesses that they no longer care to go that extra mile to retain you as a customer. Especially when in essence you are asking them to do you a FAVOR then have the NERVE to post a negative review about them because YOU did not get your way. Awful mature of you.....
