I purchased a leather living room package, which included a recliner, love seat, and couch.

I paid extra for the "leather protection" from the factory and now the leather on the recliner and love seat is peeling and cracking.

I contacted Customer Service and they offered $635.00 in store credit, if I returned all 3 pieces of furniture, which originally cost $1750 plus $150 for the leather protection.

This is not acceptable as this is clearly a manufacturer's defect.

An offer of $145.00 store credit for my recliner or $635.00 store credit for all 3 pieces (couch, love seat, and recliner) is absolutely unacceptable.  Two of the pieces (couch and love seat) look almost brand new, so you want me to just give you all 3 pieces of furniture for $635.00 in store credit?  That won't even buy a love seat or couch, much less all 3 pieces.

This is obviously a manufacturer's defect, which should be covered under warranty for longer than 12 months.

The fact of the matter is that the quality of furniture that Rooms2Go sells is subpar, the only reason they sell so much inventory is due to the special financing terms.

Also, the fact that they can only stand behind their products for 1 year should tell you the type of quality they offer.  I have been a RoomsToGo customer for over 8 years, but will never buy another piece of furniture from them.

You really do get what you pay for.

Rooms To Go only has a 1 year manufacturer warranty on our furniture, however it does sound like we have offered you the prorated option.
