First off all I have never been driven to this point to where I am searching for every avenue to warn people of this horrible company. My wife and I got a sectional and a dining room table From rooms to go it totaled almost 3500. The sectional arrived broken. When we called they accused us and were rude. After waiting a week they finally brought a replacement and it didn't fit right. That was bad but my main complaint is with the dining room table. It was my impression that the table was good I thought it was solid. I was wrong. Unfortunately we never eat at the table we've had it 15 months and we only ate there twice once for Christmas and on thanksgiving. So it seemed good long as It was just sitting there for decoration not being used it was nice little did we know soon as it was touched to much it would collapse almost landing on my son and dog. The top of the table has to be at least 300 pounds and the legs are simply glued to hold all the weight and support it. [continued below]....
..... I didn't worry much as I said I had it only 15 months didn't use it much so i was confident they would help me in some way.

When I called I was so disappointed they customer service rep was mean and never offered any solutions she only accused me and kept saying you shouldn't of moved it it is your fault. I asked for a supervisor and got more attitude I offered several solutions and they turned them all down. I asked if they could order another leg from the manufacture they wouldn't I asked if I could pay their technicians to fix it the said no. I always promoted this company to anyone I knew looking for furniture and I always made my payments on time. I was really let down I wished they would have offered me some help because I planned on getting a room set for my son from them but I guess my little money doesn't count much to them. Please go some where that will at least hear you out.

First of all I thank you for taking time to at least hear my side and let me say it was never my intention to be a problem or get something free out of this situation. I live on a fixed income and I only seek to get my money's worth out of what we are paying for. I understand warranties and I know you can't guarantee any product forever but this leg broke as a result of faulty manufacturing. We were told before buying this table it was solid I never knew the legs were held to the top of the table by glue or I never would of went with that particular table. I took a picture as best I could that picture is on this site. I'd be more than happy to forward that picture to you and I honestly hope we can reach some resolution because as I said I live on a fixed income I can't just up and buy a new table even looking to have it fix hurts but I have to have a table. Again thanks for your response hope to hear from you soon.

I believe we left you a comment on one of your earlier post from another consumer site.  Rooms To Go

provides a one year for all new purchases, but we also certainly expect our products to last much longer than the warranty period.  If you can send us an email over to Tellus@Roomstogo.com with the order details along with pictures of the table, we can go from there to see what kind of options we might have available for you.

Although I've never purchased anything from Rooms To Go I had a friend who purchased a bed and one month after they delivered the bed and set it up she was laying on it with her boyfriend and it broke in two. Rooms To Go gave her so much grief getting it fixed. Her and her boyfriend are both very slender people and the bed should not have broke in two. The wood split. I will never purchase from them.

They are too expensive anyway.
