Roosevelt University Roosevelt University Faculty, Professors Gorilla, Black Boy, B Moses stereotyping of Black Honor Student. civil rights abuses that violate Codes of Federal Regulations, not to mention human ethics of common decency racial discrimination Chicago Illinois

Included in this e-mail submission is a scanned copy of the 2 page complaint form that I filled at the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) against two White university professors who teach Biology, Joseph Green, PhD, -- who is gay and married, -- and British Literature - I have read most of the Western Classics including W. W, Norton essays and criticism all my life, -- LuAnn Schwartzlander, PhD, -- became divorced and/or strangely separated from her husband in the middle of the semester, -- classes at Roosevelt University where a charge of sexual discrimination will be served upon the school, for the personal affront to my character, misconduct against me and a civil rights abuses that violate Codes of Federal Regulations, not to mention human ethics of common decency.

Because the IDHR dose not hear nor handle charges of racial discrimination that I was also subject to, -- I was the only black male in all my classes at R. U., -- I will be forced to seek an alternative government agency or entity that has jurisdiction as well covers this form of complaint of the aforementioned federal civil rights violations.

In my complaint to Roosevelt University administrators, I will be seeking to remedy the retaliations against me by the two professors who gave me failing grades. Up to this point I was an honor student and ranked nationally. At the beginning of the semester at R.U., I was called Black Boy and treated derisively, especially around Black and White females in the Lab by a Teacher Assistant named Dan, through out the semester, of Dr Greens during my first Lab meeting. I have worked in chemistry, biology and engineering Lab since back in the mid 80's. This is why I quite working to go back to school to do something else. I brought this matter up to Dr. Cornelius Watson, Assistant Director of the Arts and Sciences and Mathematics Department of R.U.. Dr. Watson who incidentally is a Black Jamaican and I established a report when I originally arrived at the school. I did the same with Dr Green also, who is the defending party to my complaint. I fill that Dr Watson is culpable in the matter as well because he made a lot of bad decisions in judgment in dealing with Dr. Green's who answers to the Assistant Director of the same Biology Department. Dr Watson is Dr Green's boss.

I was told by Dr Green that he was going to get me back in front of the entire biology class. He also used other students, with the promise of beter grades, to give me a hard time in class. Green toke my complaints personally in our meeting with Dean Seltzer that was arranged by Dr Watson, he only participated via teleconference phone.

I only wanted talked to Dr. Watson about alerting Dr Green to his assistance bad behavior. I was not complaining about Dr Green because we got along just fine up to that point. My complaint was being used by both the director and dean to investigate Dr Green who companied to me and other students that I was going to get him fired. This created a hostile environment for me in class all semester, especially considering I am a black male who was the only one in classes besides Dr Green who had any industry Lab experience.

Dr LuAnn Schwartlander was obviously backing up Dr Green who solicited her help in getting hack at me. She told me that she was the Teacher's steward for student's complaints against instructors at Roosevelt. Dr Schwartlander told me in front of all the students in our British Literature class that you have a charge against the school, -- this is not true,. - and, I am backing up Dr Green.. I was called Gorillas and Black or B Moses through out the semester by Schwartslander. She also called me homosexual, auto erotic, (masturbating), and made face sexual passes and innuendos towards or against me in front of classes all semester. I later discovered that she was being tipped off my Dean Seltzer who office were the original and only meeting toke place was just down the hall from my British Literature class.

I only missed two classes all semester in both classes. I always handed in I all my work on time. I was the certainly the best student in the British Literature class. The professor event said that I was performing on the level of graduate students, and I was one of the best students she ever had in her class. She even told other students who where White that they should follow my example in class. I was the only student who could abaley answer the questions that were asked by the professor. Most of the time the students did not understand the reading or were not in class at all of around 9 people who were usually present. I went out of my way to read additional treatise on all the authors' material that were assigned in class.
