 Went on vacation to Dominican Republic - Punta Cana, and were approached by Royal Holidays by Ronnie.  promised us numerous things with the holiday package.  Serving drinks while talking to you, drink after drink at their private bar.  Pressured into signing a contract and then to find out after returning home, everything that was told to us was a farce. 

We were told completely opposite of what we were about to receive.  After calling several times and been given misinformation by several representatives, we decided to end the contract, as we said we did not want to pay in full up front.  We were told "YOU CAN'T" 

I advised we wanted a dissolution of the contract where we never used it, and they also made an additional charges on our credit card that i inquired about and requested a credit.  After providing proof of this additional charge.  I was contacted by Tony in Quality Assurance 1-866-287-8214 ext 2521 to be told via him that he doesnt have the papers of what was told we would get and he can't cancel the contract, he said it was in Dominican Republic and there is no cancellation, I advised we were not advised of that either.  I asked him for the over charge on the credit card and advised i had provided the proof to Christi Melchor and i want a dissolution of this contract.

At that point, i filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and stated everything that has taken place and in the BBB report Tony states that he advised me he told me the monies owed to me would be applied to our account.  I said in no way was i advised this only in this better business bureau complaint and another example of how Royal Holidays claims they inform their clients.

We have paid over $2500.00 to the company, i have lost faith in this company and want no further dealings with them and want this contract ended.

Piece of advice, when on vacation don't be pressured by high pressure sales people who claim one thing but deliver another.

Royal Holiday. Making numbers, comes out better and cheaper to travel on your own, never have availability but yes to collect the annuity are super punctual.

Royal Holiday doesn’t have the best reputation within the timeshare resorts. Most of their sales are done under high pressure sales tactics, a high number of  members at Royal Holiday feel like they have being lied and scam and most timeshare contracts are being misrepresented. One of the most common scams at the moment of purchase is that Royal Holiday’s sales person will make you any verbal promise to get you to sign their contract, however the contract clearly states that any verbal promise made by the sales associated are invalid unless those promises are establish within the contract
