Called R&R Painting for an estimate on painting one room. They came out and suggested that they would need to do some prep work and would come back tomorrow as he did not have his tools with him. Estimated time to finish the job was two days. Day 1.
He came back with the tools the next day, worked for a couple of hours and left. The next day had to call him, and woke him up. Said his children kept him up to three in the morning. A couple of hours later he showed up and did very little work. Day 2.
The next day had a flat tire, and his helper was hit in the rear and waiting a tow truck. Day 3.
The next day came with a helper and again did very little work. Day 4.
Called and sent text to get here early and finish up. Texted back he would be there. Day 5.
No show, telephone went to voice-mail, text messages unanswered. Day 6.
Apparantly Eric has scammed several other people in the area and they are all pretty mad and all want restitution from him.

I am not the only person R&R Painting has scammed.
One gentleman paid him $1,400 and another took him to court, was awarded full amount and has not seen one cent to date.
There are apparantly others in the area too.
