Run a local locksmith is a horrible company. Advertised $15 lock out services but ended up costing $165.00. The locksmith company they called out, they didnt even know. The locksmith that came only tore door frame up on a brand new $500 door and then severly damaged the $80 satin nickel handle and lock set. Asked to be paid and left as quick as he could. Called and complained to run a local lock smith. I was transfered to supervisor and he was very rude and told me he couldnt help me then hung up on me. Called back, spoke with him agian and he told me to call his reginal manager at the same number the next day. Thought it was odd to call same number for reginal manager but did. The reginal manager said he was sorry but he couldnt do anything that I would have to call the damage and claims department (one guy cant remember his name). So I called bit no answer. Left a message with what had happened and the telephone number that was used for the account just as asked by the voice mail. Several weeks went by, still no call back. So called another 2-3 times agian. 2 months more went by still no call back. Called the reginal manager back and asked him what the deal was and that I was going to report to the BBB if I didn't get some help. He said he would personally email the claims guy and get my things fixed. Well, its been 3 months now after that call and still no resolution. I still have to slam my door shut to get it to barely lock. I will end up having to replace $580 worth of damage on a new door that was just installed not but 6 months before the damage.
The difference in thieves and locksmiths is that a thief will tear up anything just to get what he needs or wants in your house but a locksmith will do a professional job taking pride in his work and caring for the coustomer and their property. These people are just plain thieves.
