Terry from RX Pharmacy called me and asked me if I wanted to refill my medication. He said that he was part of my health plan and would be able to refill my prescription medication in bulk and at a lot cheaper than my medical company could refill them. I was very hesitant at first but he was very persistant and had my medical information, so I believed him. At first I did not believe him because he said that if I ordered my medication through him that his company could have my medication in bulk the next day. I first told him that I would think about it and get back with him. The next couple of days I received quite a few calls from Terry wanting me to order my medication. After about one week of his calls I answered one of his calls and he told me the process of how to order my medications, where I had to sign up on Western Union to send my money to his company. I started the process of signing up on Western Union then started to think that this was a bad idea. I acted like I had a bad connection and did not answer his calls. Terry persisted with the calls that I did not answer, but after about a week of his calls I answered his call and told him that I was in the hospital and could not talk with him, and that I would call him back when I was better.
About a month passed with Terry calling a couple more times and me not answering. I finally answered his call and thought that I might give this a chance, after all he did have my information about my medication that my doctor had prescribed (how he had that information is still a mystery). I signed up on Western Union and agreed to send the $200 for a bulk order of one of my meds. After a couple days of having my credit cards rejected I finally agreed to withdraw the $200 and send it to his "company" in the Phillippines (that should have raised a red flag there but I didn't even think about that at the time). I agreed to send the money through Western Union to a man named "Richard Verba" who Terry said was the person in charge of medical orders. A day after I sent the money there was no contact with Terry, so I decided to call him. After a couple of tries Terry answered, but now he said that the tracking number through Western Union was a "duplicate" and he wanted me to first give him my bank account number to refund my $200 so I could get a new tracking number. Thankfully I called him out on this and after an angry back and forth with him he said that the number was a dupilicate and I would need to give him a credit card number to refund my money. I told him that was not going to happen and he needs to either send me the medication or give me a money refund immediately. Terry then said that he would contact his shippers and see what he could work out, just give him 30 minutes. That was the last that I heard from Terry and RX Pharmacy. Unfortunately I fell for this scam. I still call the number he has and his answering machine still has the same recording, although now they changed their name from RX Pharmacy to RX refills.
