If you need a professional and reliable mover, DO NOT HIRE RYDELL MOVING. Their owner Jeff O'Neill is an abusive, rude, disrespectful individual. Even worse, if you do not speak in his own "perfect" English accent, he would not like you and don't expect to be served. In my over ten years in Canada and half a dozen moves, this is the first time I was exposed to this kind of discrimination and hostile behaviour. Shame on you Jeff, shame on you.

I hired Jeff over two weeks in advance. He wanted to confirm one day before the move which I did. He called back the same day and in a very rude tone asked how many times I needed confirmation.

On the day of the move, two houre before the scheduled time I sent him an email asking if he would accept a cheque. Instead of "yes" or "no" he responded threatening that he would not come. We decided not to respond to his rudeness and focus on the move. My husband called him and told him that cash is okay, the whole conversation was not longer than ten seconds. Jeff's response was "See you in twenty minutes". My husband went down to wait for him.

We were paitently waiting for him to arrive, thinking that he is in his way. One hour after scheduled time, Jeff called me to tell me that he did not like my attitude, my accent, my English, my husband too, and he decided not to come.

I decided to spend another half an hour on this individual, and started digging on the internet. Apparently, his business reputation is low, I only wish I did my research earlier. I also found that he is misrepresenting the his company's BBB rating. His email signature shows A+ BBB rating. This is directly copied from my correspondence with him.

Please stay away from Rydell Movers and Jeff O'Neill. I hope that he will end up in court soon.

Jeff O'Neil Rydell transports and total care moving

 I was baffled to read that Jeff he was cancelling because of someone's accent !!! His language is extremely repugnant !! I was moving july.1st/15 and I had put everything I could carry down to the driveway to make it easier for them. He called me at 7:30 and I told him that he could come at 8pm rather than original time of 9pm. They didnt show up. I called and called and got voicemail. around 10pm i called again but left a voice mail, I said   " Hi Jeff this is Kylie its 10pm and you havent called or returned my text messages. this is very unprofessional and I would appriciate it if you would call me back. you need to take some responsability for this."

The next morning I recieved several texts from Jeff calling me the most appolling things, He also called my mother a **** and said he should smack her face. I told him i was going to phone the police and his response was   " go ahead fool, see what happens to you"

I have done alot of reading and research on Jeff O'Neil and his buisnesses. Regarding the mover buisness ( rydell,total care movers) he has burned Soooo many people and no one has done a thing about it ! I'm writing this to let people know my experience and let you all know that Im making his life very difficult and it will remain that way untill he loses his trucks and moving company. He laughs and thinks he's got one up on everything. He knows he can get away with stealing, threatning and intimidation. He does NOT Intimidate me or scare me. however I know he has made many people feel unsafe. Jeff did this to the wrong customer !!! I refuse to be the better person and walk away. I'm told that he's not worth it but to me he's very worth it. Someone has to stop this from continuing. I'm Going to be that someone ! I'm sorry you all had to experience Jeff's ********.
