After going through the frustration of 3 auto transport companies hanging me out to dry I thought I had found a good one in safe-direct car-shipping. On the day I listed my car with them I get a call from David telling me he has a driver to pick up my car. He says I will need to have someone there to sign off due to liability issues. Problem is I'm in Texas & my car is in Washington state. I spend the next 2 hours trying to find some one. A friend of my daughters agrees to go meet the driver, I call David to give him her contact info & he says he will facilitate all the details & call me back when it's all set up. For the next 3 hours I hear nothing, finally the friend calls to say she hasn't heard from anyone, so I call David who doesn't answer his phone so I leave a message asking what is going on??? My friend has 3 hungry kids, it's a Friday shortly before the holidays & this company just can't communicate to her or me to let us know what is going on. When the driver finally calls her he has such a heavy accent she can't understand him at all. I send David an e-mail before I go to bed telling him how unhappy I am with his lack of communication, hanging up my friend for hours & not returning the phone calls he assured me he would make to let me know what's going on. The next morning I get a voice mail from David asking me if my car was picked up, really?? Isn't that what I'm paying him to know? I ask him why he didn't feel the need to coordinate this with the driver & my friend. At this point I get really upset, I don't know if my car was picked up & David thinks I should be the one to find out from my friend if the driver ever showed up. David hangs up on me. I recieve a e-mail from David saying he will not tolorate the drama so thats why he hung up on me. I call another number from their website & get Tom on the Phone. Clearly he has already talked to David as he parrots "drop the drama lady" & he too hangs up on me. Please do not use this company if you value your car & don't want to be put through **LL!
