I paid $258 to have some equipment for my ranch truck freighted to me from Texas. Saia was the company they used for the freight. Saia called and said they would be delivering on Tuesday the 19th between 8am and 1:30pm. 1:30 came and nothing, so I called and they informed me it would be between 2:30 and 3:30. 3:30pm came and nothing, so I called again. This time they informed me that the truck was a mere 12 miles away in Alpine and it would be delivered between 4pm and 6pm.
Needless to say no delivery, when I called they said the depot manager had pulled my delivery and scheduled it for the following day. Now remeber I am doing all the calling they have not bothered to contacted me yet.
The next day my freight was delivered at about 1pm. Upon inspection the equipment had been damaged in shipment. When I called the company and ask to speak to the manager I got a very rude man that didnt seem to care about how I had been treated. Nor did he offer to refund any of my shipping charges for the way my freight was delivered or h0w I was treated.
In short I would never use or recommend anyone to use Saia. They just dont care about the customer or the customers delivery.
