Salt Springs Fl. Is mainly retirees living on fixed incomes. With gas prices going down, Patel Rajeshkumar ( BIRUD LLC) Owner of Salt Springs Pit Stop gas station and convenience store, keeps raising his prices. At present 2.33 per gal. Food just as bad! We have to travel at least 20 miles in any direction to shop. Silver Springs gas is at 2.14. example. Shady character also sells who knows what out of the back of his Van!

So this person is charging $0.19 more than a station 20 miles away. That hardly meets the definition of "price gouging".
Okay simple solution...drive the 20 miles. If people stop shopping at his store he will have two choices to lower his prices or go out of business.
Of course before you go driving that 20 miles probably should figure what that will cost you. Say you have a 20 gallon tank and fill it up. The savings amounts to an entire $3.80. But how much gas did you waste to get there and back?
By the way if you want something to complain about, how about coming out to the West Coast where we are still over $3/gallon. Although we may break the $3 barrier sometime this week.
