I went into the Walmart Store located at 9500 Clifford Road, Fort Worth, TX 76108. I had purchased several items and had finished and went over to customer service to ask to use the customer service phone to make a quick call. The front end manager gave her permission and she then walked off. The customer service agent behind the counter started to mumble and complain about "customers using the phone" and even at one time interrupted my phone call to say "Well, you know that's a business phone". I told her if it was against policy the front end manager would not have given me permission.

Once I was off the phone I asked to speak to the manager and they called Saprina Garcia, the Assistant Manager there. She came up and immediatley became very hostile to me. [continued below]....

..... She refused to even listen to my complaint and when I asked for the Market Team managers number she LIED and said that they didn't hae a market team manager and I use to work at Walmart and I knew they had a Market Team manager. When I asked her for the store manager's number she refused to tell me and when I asked for anyone else's number above her she refused to provide this. She then told me to call 1-800-Walmart. 

I told her that I had tried that number before for an unrelated reason and could never get through and I knew they had a local number to the market team manaer. She then began to shout at me and told me she didn't like my tone and that if I didn't watch my tone she would "Throw me out the store". I was like wow. I had always shopped at walmart and had never seen a manager act so hostile with so little provocation. At that point I asked to recieve my money back for my purchases. She refused to take back my merchandise even though I had just left the register, and was still holding my reciept and change. She told me that she would not and demanded I leave the store right then and there. 

She then suddenly gets on her intercom and calls security. I waited until security arrived and told him I simply wanted my money back and I would leave. He then told me he was "Doing what he was told" and told me to "leave the premises immediately". I could not believe it. Walmart was refusing to give me my money back. At this time I pulled out my phone and she started yelling for someone to call police. Lol! Unbelievably because I had pulled out my phone.

If Walmart had a problem with phones they wouldn't allow customers to use the phones to scan and tally up our merchandise before we reached the register. She went ballistic. She kept telling security to "call the cops" over and over but all I wanted was my money back.

The security guard walked me out. When we were outside I asked why the manager had said there was no market team manager and he said he didn't know and that they had one whose name was Matt. Saprina Garcia had BLATANTLY LIED about this fact repeatedly. I had asked her several times and she said they didn't have one before changing her answer to say she didn't have his number. That is LYING. So I left the store. I was so frustrated I had left my purse in the cart and was halfway home when I realized all of my money and credit cards and id and social were still left in my purse which was in the cart. I then called up to the Walmart and asked the customer service agent who answered the phone if she could have someone go out to the buggy and get my purse. She then told me "It wasn't THEIR fault I had left it and they wouldn't be sending ANYONE out". UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!

This has to be the RUDEST Walmart EVER.

I rushed back to the Walmart to find a store associate had found my purse and had turned it in to the front desk. I was too afraid to even walk back into the store and the guy told me to go ahead and he walked with me. I have never seen a walmart treat anyone like that. WOW. I am so against the company now. 

Finally when I made it home I called and and asked for another manager and this time spoke to "Barbara". Barbara sounded older and seemed nice. She listened. She said "of course" they had a market manager and when I asked her why Saprina Garcia had told me repeatedly they didn't have one and then had LIED like she didn't have his number and refused to provide his number she was at a loss for words. She provided me the market team number of 817-599-7547 (Matts number) right away. She apologized for Saprina Garcia.

This woman Saprina Garcia also told her that she kicked me out the store WHEN I pulled out my phone. THIS IS ANOTHER LIE. She had refused several times to return my items and then called security and threatened to call the cops BEFORE I had pulled out my phone at all. She was totally unprepared to handle a customer. If her answer to everything is throwing all the customers out the store who frustrate her she will be ruinous for Walmart in the long run. She doesn't value us. She could have cared less I spent my money in the store. Security was standing right there. There is no reason she could not have returned my merchandise. And then to tell me "Oh well, I was going to help you but not now" shows she has a problem handling POWER. She should NOT be in a position of authority. AT ALL. 

 

SAPRINA GARCIA IS THE WORST MANAGER EVER!

ABUSIVE, HOSTILE, ARROGANT, NON CARING, UNEMPATHETIC, SHORT ON PATIENCE, and a LIAR TO BOOT.

I have spoken to several managers now and they all state the manager, Saprina Garcia, violated their store policy by LYING like they didn't have a market team manager and REFUSING to give his number when it was their policy she do so. Also, they said she violated the store policy by REFUSING my refund when I still had my reciept and had not left their store.

And for "Tyg" fellow, aka "Stacey" a store MUST stand by their policies. STORES and retail establishments get SUED all the time for MISREPRESENTING their policies, etc. A store can not choose to IGNORE their stated policy.

That is the law. Don't believe me google "stores sued for violating policy". 

Ms. Saprina Garcia's manager HAS APOLOGIZED.

Also, for the Lawyer "Wannabe" who was screaming about defamation it isn't DEFAMATION jackass "IF ITS TRUE".

 Firstly you make yourself out to be an EXCELLENT victim. By reading this one would get the impression that your were little miss perfect and the employee was the big bad wolf. I work in retail and I see it a lot. You sure you didnt add to the situation?? You sure you werent throwing some nice laungage around doing personal attacks yourself?? If you had worked in WalMart then you would have seen the very same actions that you yourself used in this situation. If you have EVER had to do customer service and you acted like a idjit then you are the problem. YOU KNOW BETTER!!!

If they allowed you to use thier phone then they were being nice. They dont have to allow it. As you had your own phone, this whole post looks like you set them up. Why did you need to use thier phone? Was it a brief call or did you sit there gabbing? Then on top of it all, because an employee said you shouldnt be useing the phone, you felt it nessasary to not only complain but Im 100% sure you werent miss innocent or nice about it. Then you expect a employee to be nice to you about it. Sure the manager can apologize all she likes. SHE DID NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH YOU IN PERSON!!

As someone who has to deal with CS complaints I know for a fact that its a escalatory event. The more of a jackass you are the more aggresive the employee is. Knowing this tells me that YOU were the instigator in this. That employee may have fallen for your snide and rude comments, but it doesnt change the fact that YOU were the instagator in all of this.

Thats like starting a fight and then running away. What good did it do? Did you need extra drama? You are female so it could have been ANYTHING that set you off. You cant sit there and bad mouth someone when you had a equal part it it. Its just not fair to the individual who you feel its nessasary to post about. Also, you do realize that this employee now has a VERY GOOD CASE in civil court of sueing you for Defamation of character and character assassination.

Perhaps a little more thought and patience on YOUR part could have kept this incident from happening. You did not have to be a ass about the first employees remark. Who cares if someone gave you permission. If its against company policy for you to use a store phone then the employee who made the comment WAS 100% CORRECT. YOU ESCALLATED THE SITUATION!!! It was obviously a long call or the employee wouldnt have made the remark. Whats also obvious is that you took offense and probably worked yourself up because of it. So instead of being nice and apologizing for taking up a BUSINESS phone, you made a ass of yourself.

So dont try and blow smoke up the collective internets rump. You aint no lady, you aint no victim. No one cares if your african american, your simply ANOTHER American. Your playing the race card, other ppl dropped those cards long ago.

As for your purchase returns, you have no right to a refund. THERE IS NO LAW THAT STATES YOU GET A REFUND!! As every state has some form of SHOPKEEPER LAW. You can be ejected for any reason and they can choose to no longer do business with you. Which would include any returns.

Feel free to 'Google' this- WALMART WANTS YOU DEAD, and watch that video on the web. It appears that Walmart has been taking out secret life insurance policies on its employees and the executives at Walmart are the ones who are profiting from their deaths. Have a nice weekend.

Walmart nor any other store with a COURTESY PHONE (as the manager stated they HAD) Shakes down the customer to see if they have a phone before allowing them to use the COURTESY PHONE. There was a customer who came DIRECTLY behind me with his PHONE and they did not DEMAND TO KNOW why he was using their phone. They simply pointed him to the device. The woman behind the counter treated ME, an AFRICAN AMERICAN "DIFFERENTLY" than she treated the WHITE MALE who came behind me. Why begrudge me from using their phone and complain when she did NOT do the same thing to the WHITE MAN who walked up HOLDING HIS PHONE as well??

No store with a courtesy phone policy SHAKES DOWN THEIR CUSTOMERS FIRST. It sounds like that is what you were implying. A courtesy phone is a COURTESY PHONE. Does it matter "WHY" someone needed to use the phone? You have the logic of a dumbed down TEXAN. Does Walmart GRILL and INTERROGATE everyone asking to use their phone? Do they CHECK THEIR POCKETS?lol.. No Stupid. OF COURSE NOT.

And Every customer HAS THE RIGHT to return merchandise if they have the reciept. Does it matter WHY?? lol... I had JUST LEFT THE REGISTER and was STILL IN THE STORE and STILL HOLDING MY RECIEPT. If I was unhappy with the service or had simply changed my mind, as with ANY OTHER CUSTOMER, we can PER STORE POLICY, return merchandise. 

I called the store and spoke to Barbara the MANAGER who stated I was WITHIN MY RIGHTS to return STORE MERCHANDISE "REGARDLESS" of the reason and she could understand why Saprina Garcia would not. As a STORE MANAGER of a major RETAIL ESTABLISHMENT one has to have PATIENCE. One can not Eject Everyone from the store who asks for a managers phone number. What Ms. Garcia did showed she lacked the patience to be in her position.

I use to WORK at Walmart by the way and saw our store manager handle everything with DIGNITY. He didn't take it PERSONAL. Saprina Garcia grew angry I was questioning what she was stating and took it PERSONAL.

Now Stacey, you have been on maybe a thousand other reports offering rebuttals and claimng to "Know people you don't" and sounding downright FOOLISH. Give it a rest. Go and FIND A JOB. Maybe WALMART is hiring.

 If you had your cell phone what did you need to use their phone for???? What is the reason you wanted money back for your purchases???? Were you just being spiteful??? I think they had every right to eject you from the store - you had your own phone you could have used but chose to use a business phone for your own personal call.

I will be sending this report to this Walmart - you sound like nothing more than someone who wants something for nothing!! USE your OWN phone to make personal calls!!!!
