The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by B.D. Erickson during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward Satic USA.

Satic Inc is a company focused on designing and manufacturing energy saving products. B.D Erickson II stated the following in regards to his company, "our main line is our energy management systems. We do also resell some products manufactured by others such as solar panels."

Mr. Erickson stated the following about how leads are obtained for his company, "we are a small company with [a] limited marketing budget so we generally search the internet for companies carrying products in our sector, and we ask them to consider carrying the line. As of today's date, we have no printed marketing, it's all online but we hope to change that some day." A vast majority of Satic Inc's customers are businesses. In order to effectively sell their products, "we would contact a solar dealer for example and ask that they consider carrying our product line. We would send them some samples for testing as well as our product information and help with demonstrations, training etc."



CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – SATIC USA

During the onsite interview Mr. Erickson was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Mr. Erickson expressed that while they rarely receive complaints during the inevitable event of a power surge or power outage. Additionally, some customers have trouble with the technical aspects of their products. In order to combat this Satic Inc has, "five phone lines and a small staff. You would get very personal service. We have always prided ourselves on having no unhappy customers. If someone isn't happy, we would do our best to correct it." He went on to state, "we love our customers and are grateful for them. We would take the time to speak with any customer directly to resolve any issue personally."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Erickson stated, "we do not believe this to be a real customer but instead someone who has a personal issue." He went on to explain that their company has a UL listing form Underwriter's Laboratory who inspect their manufacturing techniques every quarter.

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Erickson stated, "we have always had high standards of customer service and have many written thank you letters for our great service. We make certain that our phone numbers and email addresses are easy to find with business hours so you can reach us easily."

I performed a online search of a company I worked for and I noticed a online complain. I was a salesman for Light Power Solution and Enegen. I thought adding some truth about B.D. Erickson, Satic, Gary Lights, UMA, and Light Power Solution would help comsumers not be scammed. 

B.D. Erickson partnered with Gary Lights (yes that Gary Lights) at Light Power Solutions (LPS) offering LPS a fantasy energy saving box. I sold Them so, when I say they are 100% bull%#@% I mean it.  When Gary got out of the Energy Saving Seminar SCAM business B.D and Pat Strickland took over and changed the name of the company to Enegen. Just a little insight into the mind of the con-man who B.D Erickson is. During one of our conference calls he bragged that if "he can scam a oil company owner in Montana to fund his company he can teach all the sales people how to sell to southern idiots". I guess he didnt realise the whole company was made up of southerners.

When Enegen was not making a profit they scammed Bobby West into buying a dying company and try to sell his useless products.

Consumers, I sold for these people and know what they are all about, 100 % scammers. They use free dinner seminars to rope elderly people in and sell them products that do not work (satic Global Energy Savers, or the Guardian) or products like radiant barrier insulation at inflated prices. You can buy a useless Satic box online for approximatly $400, but, all of the scam dinner seminar companies sell the units for $1500. The reflective radiant barrier insulation can be purchased from numerous vendors for .12 cents per square feet but, the seminar scammers sell at there dinners for $225 per square feet.

Do not be scammed by these people or companies. Do not let a free dinner attract you to be scammed for thousands of dollars.

B.D Erickson, Satic usa, Gary Lights and all the free dinner seminar companies are scam artist.

Satic and Light Power Solutions

I am an investigative reporter in Missoula, MT and it has come to my attention that a local company, Satic Inc., may have been involved in some questionable business deals. 

I personally visited Satic and interviewed employees, company executives and several local customers to discuss the issues that have been posted. Here are the findings from that effort:

  1. Satic Inc. is strictly a manufacturer of energy management systems and other energy saving products.  Some of their products are cobranded by other companies.
  2. According to management, Satic Inc. has never done a dinner seminar although customers such as Light Power Solutions and Enegen exist that do dinner seminars and are resellers of many different products.
  3. Satic as a manufacturer does not have an online store for its wire-in products. They sell the products to resellers and distributors and as such the company does very few end user sales. It is, however, conceivable that a dealer or reseller could misrepresent the product.
  4. Satic is strictly a manufacturer of its products. I physically toured their Missoula facility and talked with the production team where they do assembly of their products. The team explained that their products are UL, FCC and CSA certified as energy management systems and need to adhere to those standards. They also used many American made components.
  5. Mr. Erickson gave me a demonstration of their products. He explained that the company’s emphasis is more on surge protection, power conditioning and lowering EMF radiation than cost savings. The 3rd party meters that were used clearly demonstrated the products reduced EMF and EMI radiation.
  6. Executives shared third party evaluations that were done with the local College of Technology that verify what their products can do. In addition, they shared copies of multiple before and after assessments as well as testimonials. All very favorable.
  7. Satic admitted it has limited control of the price that its resellers charge for their product line. They do have a suggested retail price, however.
  8. The executive team reported that Mr. Light’s Light Power Solutions was not renewed as a dealer for a number of issues and reasons including non-payment of product. Executives stated that neither Satic nor Mr. Erickson have ever had ownership interest or worked for Gary Light, Light Power Solutions, Enegen or Bobby West. Mr. Erickson stated that Bobby West is in fact a personal friend.
  9. Satic’s executives stated that they were not surprised if someone had a bad experience with Light Power Solutions as they had a shared sentiment.

So from this reporter’s perspective, Satic manufactures a product line in the U.S.A. and does not engage in dinner seminars nor engage in direct end user sales. There also appears to be no collusion in terms of operation or ownership of the aforementioned companies. The company appears to pride itself on the quality and effectiveness of its product line.
