Around the 2nd week of Dec, 2011 my co-worker got an email from Save.more.com. They list daily deals they have (specials) sort of like Groupon. On that day they were advertising Papa John's Pizza voucher for $6.00, total value of coupon would be $12.00. My Grandson was having a sleep over in a couple of weeks so my co-worker said Debbie check this out. I read the information and since I had brought from Groupon several times and never had an issue, I assumed this was a good company as well. I registered on their site and brought the deal for that day.
Normally you should be able to print the voucher the same day just a few hours later ater you receive an email from them.
I was busy at work and did not think too much about it until the next week I realized I had not received any emails from them, so I went on their site and signed it, it showed I had a deal for Papa John's voucher, but when I tried to print the egift card it would not allow me to print. I tried to call the 800 number they advertise (800-441-1090) but was not able to reach anyone. You get a recording saying to hold on for a customer service representive, after you hold for about 2 min, a recording comes on and ask that you leave your name & number someone would return your call. Of course I left my name and number every time, but got no re-turn call. When dialing their number this is what you got until this week, now when you call it, you immediately get a recording telling you to leave your name and number someone will return your call.
I called and emailed these people on a daily basis and received notthing, absoulutely notthing.
Around 01/17/2012 I signed into their site to see if I could print and a Chat box popped up, I immediately started to use it, I asked about my voucher, and was told that they were experiencing some problems with their printer, their IT dept was suppose to be aware and working to get it fixed. The next day I signed in again and the box popped up, this time I asked to speak with a Supervisor. I was told none was available and if I left my contact info one would call me back. Well I threaten to report them to the BBB and anyone media avenue that would listen. Chat ended with me leaving my contact info, but did not feel it was beneficial.
Well low and behold about 20 min later my phone ranged and some guy identified himself as Jeff. I asked what was going on with the vouchers, He said the demand was a lot greater than they expected and that they had ordered some more cards, once they received those cards they would download them in their system, and then the customer would be able to print. That did sound plausible so I excepted that, he said I would receive an email from them when they were ready to print. The call ended.
On the 19th I signed in again to their site to see if I could print, although I had not received an email from them. this time when I pulled up my account and went to option for my deals, it said my voucher for Papa John's had been redeemed on 01/19/2012. I immediately tried to call them, but no luck.
I tried to find an option for their Chat Line, no luck. Its the weirdiest thing, its like they don't have a Chat line, but I know I used it twice before, I was on their site and it just popped up. I have sent email after email to the email@example.com
address but have not received an answer at all.
I have also been checking their site daily and for days they were like at a standstill the same deal was being offered for days, and then all of a sudden the offer changed to something else.
Just this week their site changed, when you sign in now and go to your account, the page looks different and when I access my deals it shows notthing, Like I have never done business with them before. shows a $10.00 credit that was always there, when you refer other customers to them they put a $10.00 credit on your account, can't use for much. I couldn't use it when I bought the Papa John's voucher.
This has been notthing but a nightmare for me, I'm afraid to order anything over the internet anymore.
Please help me expose these people and get my money back.
