I bought a 99 ford taurus back in 10/09. At saylorsburg auto sales. From ay one I told the dealership that there was a problem with the car such as the driver side window motor was bad, a burn smell coming fromthe engine, the horn didnt blow, fuel gauage light was out , the service engine comes on when you add gas , and when the fuel is low.I address these issues upon taken the car. The car was taken back to the dealership like 2 times when I was told that the car goes through inspection before the car is sold I don't think so. Now the pass.side front motor is gone, I put the car in to my own repair shop in Nj. where I had a 3 months warranty when I purchase the car, my repair guy said that the car was junk , the transmission was bad, the horn wire was cut, the belts were all bad had cracks in them, there is oil and transmission fluid leaking the fuel pump was no good ,the window motor was gone, the car warranty company told my mechanic that they won't repair anything on this car , when the car is covered under there guidelines.My mechanic stated I won't even pass inspection either. My mechanic said this car should of been junked or sold at a auction it isnt worth me fixing it. I called the dealership the same day I picked up the car and told them everything I was told about the car from my repair guy. Saylorsburg auto didn't believe my mechanic re: the issues the mechanic found , they didn't even want to talk to my mechanic when my mechanic " stated that the dealership can contact him" they refused too. Now if your suppose to keep the customers happy wouldn't any dealership would call your mechanic to talk about the problems? No not saylorsburg auto. I advised them yes I know the car is used and it has some miles but still the car should of been well looked over and checked ,I DO NOT know how the hell they say it pass there inspection . I told them I 'm bringing this piece of junk back to them and I WILL NOT TELL ANYONE THAT I KNOW WHO IS LOOKING FOR A CAR NOT TO GO TO SAYLORSBURG AUTO OR TED'S USED CARS, I also contacted LEMON LAW AS WELL, AND MY ATTORNEY ABOUT THEM. PLUS THE PRICE OF THE CAR WAS 5995 THEN THEN WAS 7,000 WITH 138,OOO MILES...Good luck to anyone who deals with this coompany , also I wrote them back in jan. 2010 re> I wasn't too happy with the car and that I was taken it to my mechanic to chaeck the car out since they so called said there WASN'T nothing wrong with car and they NEVER called me to respond to me about the letter HOW RUDE. You would think if a customer is unsatified about there car you would call the customer about it , and They didn't that tells you how much they car for there customers.
