Scene PR Miami Ysset Boan Disappointment and Deception at Wynwood Artwalk Style Market - Ysset Boan - Beware Miami Florida

Vendors Beware.  Ysset Boan and Scene Pr Miami is the person that runs Wynwood's Market where many local vendors set up and sell their items on the second Saturday of every month during Art walk.  She lies.  The market has been success because the art walk itself is so great and brings so many people.  The markets success had nothing to do with her.  She changed the location for Art Basel that cost the vendors more than 5 times what art walk does.  Vendors signed up and paid this large fee completely basing their decision on the original location, and she knew that.  

Although the change of location supposedly wasnt her fault, she told her vendors that the new spot would be just as good, would bring just as many people, she would provide light towers, food trucks to bring people; and because of that would not offer any refunds even though no contract had been even sent yet.  Well, none of that happened.  There was very, very low turnout.  No light tower.  No food trucks.  The neighborhood was unsafe.  When a group of vendors that were set up outdoors tried to talk to her, she showed no signs of compassion or cooperation.  

Her resply was to send them texts the following day telling some to not return at all and others to only return if the agree to stay quiet. She said that police would walk them out.  She claimed that she felt unsafe when she was approached and would escort vendors off if they tried to speak to her agian.  Ridiculous.  Who does she think she is?  My friends lost money, not only event fee, but merchandise purchased, time lost.  She is completely unprofessional.  Offering different information to different vendors all the time in order to make her personal accomodations.  

She asks for payment upfront always, usually without any contract and later claims verbally that she has a no refund policy.  Most vendors left and found other locations in order to at least recover part of the fee they paid.  I write this because I feel terrible for them.  If you read this to know more about Ysset Boan and Scene Pr miami, know that you, your money and your business are not safe with her.  Whatever she says to you is probably a lie.  You take a chance.  The success of the event will have nothing to do with her.
