Scope of Work Inc. A disaster! Schaumburg Illinois

This has been a nightmarish experience to us.

We have been hiring various contractors and handymen, because we own a big old house that needs constant repair works.  Some of their works have been good, while others, not so; but they have all been acceptable with a reason.  But this recent work on our bathroom by "Scope of Work" has been a total disaster.  I now strongly regret that I have ever hired this contractor. 

My mother-in-law, who is a friend and like a real mother to me, recently moved in with us, and I and my husband thought that we would prepare a new bathroom for her.  I found and contacted "Scope of Work", and the contractor, who introduced himself as "Remzo Music" tried to assure me that he had had some experiences with bathroom remodeling.  But the result was a total failure even to my non-professional eyes; and my husband, who is quite handy himself, told me that it was a laughable amateur attempt.  The tiled floor surface was not even and did not line up with some jagged parts.  The grout work seemd all done by a total amateur.  The bathtub and the toilet were installed so poorly that they did not seem even usable.   

Of course, we complained to this contractor about all this result, and he gave us some discount with an apology.  But the money did not matter, when considering the stress and the waste of time inflicted on us by this unfortunate contract.  We now need to hire a new and more reliable contractor to fix all this.  And my husband suspects that this contractor Remzo has a dishonest practice of padding and inflating his labor hours, as the total labor hours were estimated too long for this work on just one bathroom.
